Hey PakGamers,

I recently got my hands on an epic display, so please consider this my full and extensive review for the ViewSonic XG2703-GS gaming monitor. It is not often that we see a quad-HD display which goes upto 165 Hz refresh rate, so this is definitely a rare-top-performing breed.

So the major highlight points for the display are :

WQHD Resolution (2560 X 1440)
165Hz refresh rate
SuperClear® IPS panel technology
NVIDIA G-SYNC technology
NVIDIA Ultra Low Motion Blur technology

Unboxing:

The View Sonic XG2703-GS's Unboxing doesn't depend on the beauty of the gaming screen. View Sonic XG2703-GS boxes it in a large measured box. Truth to be told, it makes sure to show its gaming goals by initially displaying the vibrant green XG sign.

The View Sonic XG2703-GS’s panel is vertical, and base is designed in a way that there is no need to assemble, so you have to simply tear open it and peel off approximately six pieces of scratch-safe plastic packing tape.

The View Sonic XG2703-GS carries the power supply in it which is a medium-sized wedge shaped brick. Moreover it consists of few cables which are of USB 3.0 and Display Port. There is no HDMI cable in it which is usually customary, however most of gamers would have it already, and it as that interface emphasizes G-Sync nor 165Hz

Description:

The View Sonic boasts an appealing exhibit of hues, bunches of accommodating presets, G-Sync abilities and new quad-HD resolutions. In any case, you'll need to live with a confounding menu framework, abstruse volume controls and a high sticker price that may abandon you scratching your head. On the off chance that you have the cash, and your PC isn't exactly sufficiently effective for 4K gaming, the XG2703-GS takes care of business, in spite of the fact that it shouldn't be the main quad-HD screen you consider.

Design:

The XG2703-GS skirts on the cusp of overdesign, however despite everything it figures out how to look cool as opposed to gaudy. The 27-inch screen is a plain dark rectangle with a little green feature to finish everything, and vast remains with LED lighting. The brightening defaults to a harmless white and green, in spite of the fact that you can include reds and yellows in the framework menu on the off chance that you lean toward something somewhat bolder. While the stand is substantially bigger than it truly should be presumably to oblige the lights, it's as yet a lovely screen that doesn't draw excessively concern far from at all what you're performing onscreen. Altering the screen is really straightforward. Once you've connected it to the stand (which requires just an enduring hand and a little power), you can move it horizontally and vertically, and additionally tilt it in an assortment of bearings. You can even get a full vertical compliance, which can be to a great degree helpful for productivity (especially useful if you a coder / software programmer).

Performance:

I put the XG2703-GS through some test with Watchdogs 2, Far Cry 4, Fifa 17, Hitman, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, The Dark Souls: each time making an effort to a different preset to perceive how well the screen's additional possibility can be synchronized with what variations really need to look great. The screen can reinforce any determination up to 2650 x 1440, putting it once and for all between full HD and UHD peripherals.

Watchdogs 2 looked totally attractive on the FPS 1 background, with a shadowy broad-spectrum tone and superficial, rich shades that suck in air life into the animated world and characters. FPS 2 was tremendously vivid for my judgments, in spite of the fact that it could hypothetically be useful on hostile shooters with murkier screening palettes, parallel to Kill-Zone or Resident Evil.

From a mechanical viewing platform, the screen is thorough as guaranteed, frames per second rates in the surrounding area of 60 and 120, depending upon the format of the game which you are playing.

I played games which were supported with and without the G-Sync utility, which would have to level out casing rates and reduce shredding on equipment with NVidias graphics cards. G-Sync did not give the impression to have any upshot in either outline rate or execution; but on the other hand it's plausible that clients who are more customary, less powerful cards could determine this effectiveness valued.

The ViewSonic XG2703-GS is the perfect show for straightforward gamers who persistently anguish their illustrations situations to Extreme, rendering each edge your GPU can yield in stunning delicate element, as well as a mind boggling 165Hz recover rate, and in addition NVIDIA's G-SYNC innovation, this present screen's variable energize rate capacities basically hand out with screen tearing and stammering for very liquid gameplay in the middle of rapid paced gaming successions. A juggernaut given on the front line shows modernism, this screen consist of a 2560x1440 WQHD Super clear IPS-sort panel for advanced shading precision and more remarkable review edges. A brisk reaction time gives you a chance to grab hold of control of the game, although a low info slack gives flat screen implementation even in the most realistic extraordinary successions. For a change winning engrossed edge, a gamer mode part improves visuals for FPS, RTS, RPG and MOBA. Moreover there is a Dark shading applause work which raises your spirits and you target foes robbing in the Dark, while the screen keeps up marvelously rich hues and difference, the XG2703-GS has all you have to overcome your gaming missions

Specs and Spine:
  • Menu Controls.
  • Headphone Hook.
  • Internal Speakers.
  • VESA Compatible Wall Mount (100 x 100mm).
  • USB 3.0 (x2).
  • AC In.
  • Headphone Jack.
  • HDMI port.
  • Display Port.
Interface and Ports:

Not like some of its rivals, the XG2703-GS is outrageously light on ports. You can attach it to your PC with whichever a Display Port or a HDMI connection. Around there exists a two USB ports and a 3.5 mm sound jack set. If we draw a distinction between XG2703-GS and few other screens which are categorically loaded with USB ports (some of which will charge your appliances not withstanding when the...

Hey! Congrats. I'm actually in the market for the same monitor these days, because the ASUS option is too over priced. Tell me 2-3 things
-What is the back light bleed issue situation on your unit?
-IPS Glow? Any issues?
-Where'd you get it from locally and for how much, if i may ask. Also do you get local warranty support?

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
