Bought ViewSonic LED VA1938wa and hooked it up with PC having P5GCMX mobo and connected via VGA(It only has VGA input).
Now the problem is the native resolution of this moniter is 1366x768, but I can not set this resolution because it is not being shown in display/reolution settings.

Any idea what I should do?
I installed the latest drivers but that did not work.

is it 19.5 inch or 18 inch because the model you write in title thread is 19.5 inch model and i am also using same l.e.d with nvidia 550ti . i have some weird resolution issue with game's when i was using VGA cable now i am using DVI cable and all issue resolved plus there is also a notification in nvidia control panel that my display is HDCP . so if your L.E.D is 19inch and have DVI support switch your cable to DVI from VGA or is it 18 inch L.E.D so try to install new video card driver .

Does it show as "Generic PNP monitor"?
It shows as "Generic non-PNP monitor".

It's an 18.5 inch display Viewsonic » VA1938wa-LED

Dark Slayer! Install drivers on the LCD.

Allow me to elaborate a little. "Drivers" for LCDs (etc) are just a simple configuration file, which has 'monitor profiles' saved.

Sometimes when you are not being able to set the resolution to its native one of the following work:
- Install drivers
- FORCE the resolution via your GPU Control Panel

P.S. I see you have a Nvidia card. Just go to Nvidia Control Panel > Change Resolution > Customized > Create Custom Resolution.

abobobilly I downloaded the drivers from the official website but to no avail.
I am not using it with any GPU, its connected through VGA on my Asus P5GCMX motherboard's on board VGA output.
