Used G2 or new Moto G 2014? Help.

I need to choose between used G2/Nexus 5 or Moto G 2014 version from Bytes.pk.

Will 16GB enough?
I mean how much place does the OS take up?
Bytes.pk is selling Nexus 5 at 20k while Moto G 2014 new at 19k. I currently have 8gb internal in my Lumia and 16gb card. 8gb out of 24 is free so this is enough for me. Don't know about 16GB.

How much are they different in performance?
No other options please. I made a thread before as well but nobody replied. Kindly help me.

How are we suppose to tell you how much storage space you need? You get around 10-11GB out of the box on a 16GB phone. Figure out how much you need depending on your requirements.

As for the phones, the Nexus 5 is easily the best of the lot. Moto G is a low-midend phone where as the Nexus 5 is better in just about every aspect.

G2 is good too but it's extremely difficult to spot a not refurbished phone, so stay away from it especially when you're new into buying used phones. Get Moto G and be happy, it runs near stock Android which means it'll have a bit more storage left to play with compared to something like Galaxy S3 16GB.

My cousin bought a clean 32gb G2 at 20k from Kohat but don't know if it's refurbished or not.

Just Google " LG G2 touch screen issue" and you will know ..
The sensor goes crazy like auto moving and pressing the screen and stuff ..

Whatever you buy don't buy anything from bytes.pk or other Pakistani online stores that are selling used phones better go to a local market and physically check the phone before buying or you can buy from a trusted seller from pg marketplace.

I bought G2 used 10/10 about 7-10 months ago. I am very satisfied and happy with it. You sould buy from trusted sellers only.

You should really get a new Moto G 16GB, it is enough. Best display. I dropped it a hundred times, stronger than a nokia. Runs all the latest stuff, Lollipop. No faults, no random issues, no malfunctions. Plus cheap. Moto G is a beaut. Still you should consider what others say.

Dont shop online most sites send u defective products go to a dealer check the damn thing on the spot and buy it. Advice go to a relatively big shop or a whole saler and u can even save some cash

I beg to differ.. Ghost touch issue is pretty much synonymous with any Touchscreen phone. And i've 2 LG G2's in my possession. Bought from market recently. I don't have any of those issues.

Please don't share your experience on behalf of your friend If you haven't tried the device yourself. LG G2 is currently best bang for the buck.. You can't find A better phone at 19-20K Period.

OP.. Go for a G2 or Nexus 5 from a reputed vendor.. Phone4U, Cellbuzz, Cellhouse just to name a few. They also offers COD all over Pakistan..

LG G2 is better at Screen Quality, Size, Screen to body ratio, Better camera, Better Battery backup.

Nexus 5 is better at Latest Updates, Stock android, No bloatware, Matte finish on the back.

I will prefer LG G2 over nexus 5 at any time. I used both handsets but i feel nexus 5 have very low battery time, moreover lg g2 have better camera than nexus 5 in my point of view but try to purchase new thing. in mostly cases second hand things shows strange problems

G2 is an amazing phone and even better than Nexus 5 in some aspects no doubt about that but fact is fact either someone believe it or not ..
Agar phir bhi yakeen nahi araha kal time nikaal k Block I ajao aur khud dekhlo phone use karkay mere dost ka ..

AS per my experience.. I've bought 2 G2's from market. One for me and One for my mother. Both are working flawlessly.. 2 Doston ko bhi dilwayain hain.. No ghost touch problem in any of those. Maybe the G2 your friend got was messed up and is Local Refurbed. Although Screen Lines issue is common with G2 but it only happens when you're running a custom kernel.

P.S : Screen issues are mostly common in Sprint,Verizon,D805[Canadian] variants. Cause they use JDI panel instead of using LGD panel. I bet your friend have one of those?
Or he bought it from Sarena? Cause last time i checked some idiot in Sarena was trying to rip me off by selling me a Sprint variant by saying that its D802 but when i checked settings BOOM it was LS980. LOL!

Its Block " i " actually where he resides ..
Coming to the point, My friend dealt with two G2s himself and had both the "quite unfortunate" phone experiences from OLX :s ..
First was LG G2 sprint variant that had a whole strip of its screen unresponsive to touch on inspection which the seller accepted the fault and the deal was off ..
Second G2 he bought, which he has it right now, is an AT&T variant that worked fine for a few hours after the purchase but started to go crazy all by itself.... long story short, the seller paid merely a thousand bucks for repairs while the repair costs around 7 to 8 thousand bucks i.e a complete screen replacement is required ..
I guess may be he is not supposed to be using G2 at all ..
