so guys us Overclockers...we like to have the best of everything...and even if not then pushing our hardware to the limits...

so i was thinking we bench every piece of hardware in our rigs...why not Bench the handy little flash drives that serve us daily !

so lets get on with it ! and see which brand is the best , fastest , stable and most Reliable ( please concentrate on each word..cause they matter and dont mean the same thing (1))

This thread will serve as a platform and help buyers make good decisions when purchasing flash drives....

The utility to be used is none other than HDtune ! in case of flash drives it is pretty much reliable ! trust me.

Dude thats mainly for hard drive and any storage media. I use it all the time for diagnostic checks and all. Nice share anyway. I think this should be changed to Hard drive benchmark....much more practical.

Yeah same here dude..one of my fav tools ;)

This thread will also serve as a platform in proving my point that the kingston Flash drives avail in the local market are FAKES....chinese noname ones....housed in a kingston case....this is because i have tested plenty kingston ones and all have given me ridiculously low transfer rates...and hdtune read one of them as XPOD flash drive :S

also will be posting a TRANSCEND 4 gig flash drive bench soon !

i dont know my USB brand name......



i also have 8gb stick but curently its workking on my old Q9650 system.....i will post its bench soon

    did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!
