I share similar thoughts. Besides, his main focus would be on creating jobs for american by diverting the money from Wars to industrialisation.

what is good that world is taking matters in their own hands and people r doing whats good for them even if it looks bad to others.
BrExit and now this, anti-STatus Quo man beating a woman of establishment and "the bankers" with public support.
What we can learn from these results n how world politics is shaping up is to think for our self also and choose wisely. We can also do something which is not normal n traditional. May our political scene also gets mature and we also break this status quo.

Despite huge anti Nawaz sentiment on social media, he still became PM.

Same was the case for Hillary vs Trump, which leaves us with conclusion that social media is still grossly used by kids who can't even get up and vote, better yet, they are not even eligible.

With all due respect to your analogy, I believe a vast proportion of the Trump supporters did not publicly express their support for him so as to be socially accepted and not ridiculed openly.
