URGENT HELP FROM A2 STUDENTS: Equivalence

NED walay khud derahay hain equivalence, you don't need to deal with IBCC.

Yea I saw in the prospectus that for A Level one needs to send in attested photocopy of the A Level result only. But A Level result bhi to nahi mila to photocopy kis ko karaon?

Its best that they send result so that equivalence can be made so that I can apply in Karachi University too.

Good news all round!

Got my original result sheets today.

H4R4Mkhor principal had the sheets with her all this time. When I went, she said: "Itni jaldi aagyay" (we actually came after 2 days of informing her about giving originals). Dad barged in and said: Kuch logon ko office bhi jaana hota hay. Then she said "ok wait outside, let me talk with upper management". We complied.

She called us in 10 minutes. Told us that you have to be here on graduation day to get the result. Submit 1000 RS. I asked her "When is the graduation day". She said "On the 6th". I told her laughing: "I have my NED paper on that day...".
She then said: Okay submit 1000 RS, you will get 300 RS back, you will get your result right now but we have to guarantee that you'll be here on graduation day at 1 PM. I said "yeah yeah okay give me the results". We got the result, got the eff outta there. Told my dad to get the safety deposit back from the school (hum bhi to lootain zara in ko). He said "Kuch din baad, abhi zaroori kaam hay".

Went to Domicile office, got documents attested, handed them in. Got urgent domicile made.

Was going to IBCC office to get my Equivalence made. Remembered in the middle that I have no more Passport sized photos left with me X__X. Dad was furious but told me that its no problem, will get in made on Monday.

Went out from the school, hopefully for the final time, a happy man.

Also remember last year when I got a D in General Paper? The GP is not counted in the A2 results. Its not there on the original result sheet There is no GP on the original results

Yar we studied General Paper by ourselves. The teacher got Dengue in the 2nd month of AS. And the school didn't replace him.

Didn't know how many points we have to expand upon in GP. Did not got notes from any teacher or principal regarding topics in GP. So shit hit the fan and the girl who has gotten A*, A, A in Bio, Chem, Physics got a U in GP. She retook the exam and thankfully got a B.

This is the subject in which almost the entire class failed.

We came to know afterwards that we need more content and less sparkling vocab in GP.

You don't NEED to study for GP! That's the whole problem. It all depends on what paper you get.

The papers are pretty much the same and you have alot of choice <_<

Doubt it, dont see what GP has got to do with ACCA F1?

The exemption would be for CA I guess.
Off topic but can you tell me what documents are required for domicile?

^ A ID card and few other forms,just go to a good photocopy wala with a computer he'll get u for them.

I'm currently doing my A2. I intend to apply to NUST, IA. Do I need an equivalence certificate for my AS Lvls too? Or just the O Lvls equivalence for now? What is someone didn't appear for the AS exams and plans on appearing for AS A2 at once?

Also, on the equivalence form provided by IBCC on their website, in the 'documents to be attached' portion, there are some points I don't understand. It will be helpful if someone can explain what those documents are:

2. Proof of registration for the Certificate/Diploma.
4. Original & attested photocopy (back to back) of each Certificate/Diploma obtained from abroad alongwith English translation from National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad or from the concerned Embassy.
5. Printed / Photocopy of the syllabus from the official record of the institution conferring the Certificate (English version only).
6. Attested copy of earlier SSC equivalence certificate issued by IBCC/Copy of documents.

Someone help me out asap please because I have to get done done with this equivalence shit jaldii. Thanks.

Q2) Proof of registration for the Certificate/Diploma?
A2) Statement of entries for your respective certificates. The ones you will be getting your equivalence made for. Just in case, take your Olevels one as well, to be on the safe side.
Q4) Original & attested photocopy (back to back) of each Certificate/Diploma obtained from abroad alongwith English translation from National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad or from the concerned Embassy.
A4) Ignore the second part of the statement as you've given CIEs and the certificates are in the language of the queen. As for the first part, they are asking you to get your certificates attested. Their photocopies, of course. But, take the originals as well as they also keep those.
Q5) Printed / Photocopy of the syllabus from the official record of the institution conferring the Certificate (English version only).
A5) Does not apply to you.
Q6) Attested copy of earlier SSC equivalence certificate issued by IBCC/Copy of documents.
A6) Take a copy of the Olevel equivalence certificate they issued you. In fact, take the original as well. (Just in case)
