[URGENT]Adding more space to a parition(extending the partition)

Okay so I have in total of 3 partitions on my hard disk. C(13.4gb) only has the Windows installation in it and nothing else, it barely has 3mb of free space. Another is drive X, which has everything else in it, softwares etc and its 273gb in size and the third is the D drive which is the recovery partition, and im not touching that

So i want to extend my C drive and want to take some space, lets say 10gb from X and then extend C.
Ive tried it with the disk management feature in Windows by shrinking the X partition by 10gb but i cannot seem to extend C, i can only extend X again :s

Any other way this can be done ? I need to know ASAP

use magic partition software for this purpose but it will take a long time

Partition Magic worked wonders for me. No guide required. The software is more or less self explanatory. Just click on ur hard drive when its shown in the window and u should have the option
