Upgrading from my GTX 770?

I've currently got a GTX 770 and am considering upgrading it. However I don't want to spend money on a miniscule increase in performance. My budget, although not fixed, is probably around 30k (fine with used components). I do some moderate motion graphics and for gaming I generally only want a stable 45-60fps on 1080p on medium or high'ish settings. Should I wait for some time until there's something affordable released or is the GTX 1060 something I should be getting asap?

Although the 980ti performs better than the 1060, wouldn't it be better to go with the latter because it's newer and potentially cheaper? Or would you say it's worth the extra cash.

The rates vary from 39 to 47k...depending on model and condition...
I just bought gigabyte 980ti xtreme gaming edition

No. The performance diff is too much between. If you sell your 770 for 14k n add 30k ull easily get one

RX 580 is also an option if you want to go the AMD way.

ONLY buy 980ti you you are getting it cheaper than a used gtx 1070, otherwise don't.

580s are tough to find that was my initial intention. Will see if I find any on the market place.

Do you need to buy soon? If not, you can always wait. Otherwise personally I would suggest you to go for a used 1070 mint condition.

It's not urgent. Anytime within the next 4-8 months is fine. Do you think 1070 prices will go down?

if u are gng to upgrade go for gtx 1070


anything lower than that isnt worth it.

i upgraded myself from 770 to GTX 1070 for 1080p its Crazy Bump in FPS.

thats a wise decision don't be fouled by lower gpus.. besides the fps you see in benchmarks are all of GTX 1070 Founders edition that people compare to 980ti ..

GTX 1070 Amp Extreme or MSI Gaming X are even faster 5-7 Fps.

i myself own a GTX 1070 Amp Extreme.
