[Unboxing] Sennheiser RS 175 RF

Bought Sennheiser RS 175 RF for TV/Movies from USA.
The packaging is very nice, just like it would suit a company like Sennheiser. It features both Analog and Optical input. They have provided both optical and analog cables along with the batteries.
Its the best bang of bucks when you compare it with RS 165, RS 185 and RS 195.
RS 175 is aimed at movies and TV whereas RS 185 is aimed at music. The one which offers both is RS 195 but, according to reviews, the quality/features difference doesn't justify the price difference. Since I already have Sony MDR 1A for music that's why I chose to go for the movies one. Read overwhelming positive reviews about it. I hope it will live up to them.

Haven't got a change to test them yet. Will post about basic sound quality and comfort later.

P.S. I don't know how pics got flipped. They are not like this in estraimage album. If anybody knows how to correct them then please let me know.

$180 from Amazon. Bought it in US and brought here.
Checked a couple of shops in Pak and found out that it was retailing for above 40k.

No, they havent dropped the price. It was $170 when I bought. I had to pay tax on this price so it cost me $180. But yeah, depending on the state you are residing in, you can save those $10. [emoji4]

Indeed, things r always hard to find in Pakistan, was checking Tejar n their price was ridiculous 37k but RS160 are 15.9k

Depends on what you want out of that. RS 160 is a pretty old model so first make sure that they have them in brand new condition not in refub/used condition.
Secondly, there are no surround sound and bass controls. Its a basic wireless headphone system. You should get that if you find surround sound/bass/etc. controls as fancy features.
