Finally got done with my latest PC build last month and was just waiting for my monitor to arrive.


Specs are as follows:

CPU: Core i7 6700k
Mobo: ASUS Z170I MITX
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB 3200mhz
HDD: 4TB WD Black
SSD: 500GB Samsung EVO
CPU Cooler: Corsair H801 v2
PSU: EVGA Supernova 650GS
Chasis: Cooler Master Elite 130
GPU: EVGA GTX 980Ti 6GB

The Acer Predator X34 Ultra-Wide Gaming Monitor

G-Sync is a game changer imo, screen tearing and stuttering was a major problem I had with PC gaming but after using this display it's impossible to go back to a regular monitor.Ticks all the boxes has a overclockable refresh rate upto 100hz, amazing color reproduction via the IPS panel, 4ms response time and also an ultrawide res of 3440x1440p. Finally i have ascended from 1080p.

If you can manage to get your hands on one this is the best monitor I've ever used.

PS: Just waiting for my new desk so I can find a good permanent place for my setup.

Thanks to both of you guys, well the reason i haven't moved on to the 1000 series is because i had the 980ti lying around from a previous build (replaced the old desktop with a 760) so i just used it here i am getting 60+ frames on nearly every game at 1440p so no point in upgrading atm will IA upgrade in the next hardware revision Atm 980ti is enough.

The game in the Pic is Mad Max.

Thanks, the other Gpu is an Inno 3d gtx 760 this card is currently installed in my old desktop since i pulled the 980ti from it to power this Beast.

Imo Gsync is the greatest gaming related feature there is no stuttering no screen tearing ultra smooth gameplay experience. once you have experienced Gsync you honestly cant go back to regular monitors its that good.

[MENTION=551]GoldenHawk[/MENTION] congratulations for the beautiful build....i had my impact vii with 4790k along with 780ti in that casing right there but my behemoth 980ti couldn't fit in any more so i changed to corsair 240 lol....and welcome to the acer x34 club and i think you're the third one here with this sick monitor.
[MENTION=43205]hamis[/MENTION]khatri and all the other readers i can vouch for this screen and gsync and yes it truly is a game changer however you need to demo it or experience it by yourself as words can hardly describe.

On a final note there are some bad apples that dont support 1440p ultrawide by default and some don't support at all just wish it changes in future

thanks for the kind words it truly is a magnificent piece of tech this monitor after nearly 5-6 years on 1080p it was time to upgrade.

also i have heard about the issues people where having with the early manufactured models but thankfully mine is the X34A revised model manufactured in April 2016 i have no issues with it other than slight backlight bleed on the bottom corner of the screen which you can only notice on a black background it isnt noticeable during normal usage though and doesn't bother me at all

As far as the PC goes i Love ITX builds everything neatly packed in a small box with a High end Cpu/Gpu just amazing
