guys i am looking to buy TCL c2 UHD LED TV

is anyone already using the LED TV????

Also would 1080p content will work on it??? let say i have a movie source of 1080p since UHD content is not available so would 1080p will be looking good on it.

Please share your views as they will play a major role in letting me buy a new LED TV

Don't go for tcl, you may get the resolution but not the same contrast ratio, color quality, black level, etc as you would on a Samsung or Sony or LG. Also yes they can play 1080 content

TBH it's flexible. I was leaning more on getting the tcl c2 but can't get any first hand experiences.
My second choice would be Samsung kS8000- which I know is excellent.
So I would say between 100k-200k

for 4k hdr gaming you need 10 bit tv and this tv is only 8 bit. Your console will not pick it up as hdr tv . Go for Samsung k8000 or Sony 9300 series

I'm actually using my htpc for gaming and occasionally use the PS4 pro for exclusives.
You're right about going for ks8000. It's a great panel and looks far superior

"A 10-bit display is only useful if you are watching a 10 bit content, which is really rare. Currently, almost everything is 8 bit, including Windows or game consoles. HDR takes advantage of 10-bit, and so getting a TV that supports 10-bit color is only important if you intend to watch HDR videos.

We verify color depth while performing our picture test. Using the Nvidia ‘High Dynamic Range Display SDK’ program, while outputting a 1080p @ 60Hz @ 12-bit resolution, we display our 16-bit gradient test image and we analyze the displayed image and look for any sign of 8-bit banding. If we do not see any 8-bit banding, it means the TV supports 10-bit color. We do not differentiate between native 10-bit color and 8-bit color + dithering because we score the end result of how smooth the gradient is."

The takeaway from this is that "game consoles are 8 bit?"
And the last bit that there is no difference between native 10bit and 8 bit + dithering (which is what c2 is)
Kind of confused now
