Finished first Season. LOVED IT. Gotta agree with Otto though, the last couple of eps seemed to lack the intensity of the first 6 eps just lil bit. but nonetheless it was freaking amazing. I'm gonna look forward to more seasons of this. but the best thing about this show by far was dat intro. :D

Show took a nose dive in the "present day" episodes and the overlooked clue seemed all too convenient and rushed.

Didn't expect Cohle to come out of the coma. It would've made for a perfect ending imo. Not because someone has to die for an emotional impact, but it just went with natural flow of the finale. But then again, that wouldn't have given us a chance to see Cohle's emotional breakdown. What a brilliant actor this guy is turning into.


Still loved it though and I'll watch the season again soon.

The last two episodes were different because there was less of that badass pessimistic Cohle and more of a guy who desperately wanted to solve the case and needed the help of his old friend.

The last two episodes did lack some of the charm and charisma, but that happens to real people too right? Time changes things.

Well for me its probably one of the best crime series after Sopranos. Acting and story was pretty solid. Brilliant performance by Matthew Mcconaughey & Woody Harrelson.

It's not just that Cohle changed, also the fact that the pacing got messy and some of the writing got sloppy as well. I mean, Look at that Final Paint Job clue that they used to make the connection. Could've done way better.

I loved it, but it didn't quite become the perfect TV show season just because of the last two eps.

*Heavy Chole accent* You know how Hart kept talking about the detective's curse? A definitive foreshadowing of the finale. Pretty sure some research went in there.

Best fucking show I have seen in a while, brilliant acting by Matthew Mcconaughey & Woody Harrelson

P.S. Almost picked up smoking again.

Just finished watching this. I really enjoyed the show as a whole, but the finale kinda left me feeling unsatisfied. The ending and all was quite well done, but so many things were left unanswered.

Who is the Yellow King? Why mention him so many times if he had no impact in the end?
A little more light should have been shed on the cult. I feel like viewers were kept in the dark too much.
Audrey's drawings eventually had no impact on the rest of the show, so why have them there in the first place? Same goes for her dolls.
What was up with the billboards that they kept showing time and time again?

I feel a little mislead by some of these things, but other than that, this was a brilliant show. I normally just stick to movies, but I'm glad I watched this.

^^The Billboards were adds about Missing women.They could've been more victims of the cult's murder/rape rituals that no one ever found out about and chalked it up to disappearances.

I just picked up this season randomly...and my GOD it was the best choice after Breaking Bad ive ever made. This season totally blew me away just like BB, since it got all the things what a passionate viewer like me wants. The Perfect Start and the Perfect End to the Series was breath taking. I'm so madly in love with this particular series that till now I have turned 20 to 25 of my classmates to watch this Series and honestly every single person loved it.

Now I'm intensely waiting for its 2nd Season..since these kind of Series makes a huge impact on your life.

Lastly the Actor's are the real thing, both Matthew McConaughey & Woody Harrelson played a mind blowing role. Since those two gave a life to the Series in true sense.

    You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
