Top 10 naruto characters - start the discussion

I didn't see any thread regarding this so i decided to start!
These days i am i am crazly reading about every strong character in Naruto, from the conclusion i'll state the top 7 in my opinion and facts behind choosing them.

For anime watcher some characters are from manga!

1.Hiruzen Sarutobi

Hiruzen Sarutobi

He was the youngest Hokage and Kage during his era.
according to people he was strongest in all the Hokages. -Iruka and Jriya
Was known as the GOD OF NINJAS and had mastered almost every technique.

A common argument,

"He Lost to Orcohimaro"

At such an ancient age where his chakara levels where down to a point where he was hesitating to use his shadow clones, i think he did pretty well holding his own against the 1st 2nd and orochimaro and countering them with attacks, he successfully managed to finish the threat of konoah being destroyed as well as bring the 1st and 2nd who were in their prime along with orochimaro's hands down. During the battle EMNA said "What has happened to you, this isn't even the shadow of your past" the ANBU black OPS said that he used to have vast amounts of CHAKRA but had lost them because of his age.


Now since he was stronger then the previous Hokages and the 1st was in accordance of UCHIA MADARA the stongest of all NINJAS and that none of the current kages were even remotely as powerful as him it is fair to say that the 3RD was the strongest in his prime. He was also the strongest among all the kages during his intial era.

2.Hashirama Senju

Hashirama Senju

Uchia Madara who is currently single handedly owning the 5 kages said that the only person stronger then me was the 1st and that he was the strongest of all Ninja. This guy was able to defeat Madara with the 9tails and enternal mankagoy so it is safe to presume he was bloody porwerfull.

3.Madara Uchia

Can control the 9 tails has enternal monkegoy and is easily owning the 5 kages.

4.Sandaime Raikage

He is recognised as the greatest Raikage.He had enormous chakra reserves, being able to use the Kohaku no Jōhei to seal the Eight-Tails each time the beast went berserk during his time. He was able to single-handedly delay an entire army consisting of ten thousand shinobi for three days and nights before finally collapsing,he was also said to be the only ninja capable of going up against a tailed beast. Being able to overcome 10000 elite ninja's aint easy.

Minato Namikaze




According to Jiraiya, Minato was one of the most gifted shinobi who ever lived. During the Third Shinobi World War, flee-on-sight orders were given to enemy shinobi should they ever see him appear on the battlefield. Minato was also capable of countering the Nine-Tails' attacks to the point that Tobi needed to step in to face him directly. After their battle, Tobi was forced to retreat due to being severely injured by Minato. He even complimented Minato and stated he was worthy of his title as Fourth Hokage. His abilities were so far advanced that even theFourth Raikage thought that no one would be able to surpass him.

Not much power of this guy have been shown but i am pretty sure he is a bad ass ninja being able to control 7 tails beats isn't easy as well as kurama when he attackted the hidden leaf intially.

7. Jairiya (THE TOAD SAGE)

One of the three Legendary Sannin, His strength was so great that even powerful members of Akatsuki either were easily subdued like Konan while others like Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki, a master of the Sharingan and former member of the Seven Mist Swordsmen respectively, opted not to face him in battle, fearing that the very best they could do together against Jiraiya would end in a stalemate. Kisame even said that he was no match for Jiraiya saying he was "on a whole other level." Itachi stated that even if they had reinforcements, the result would be no different. Even Nagato, a former student of his, was nearly defeated despite outnumbering Jiraiya, causing the younger opponent to marvel Jiraiya's abilities, noting that he could not have beaten Jiraiya had he had prior knowledge of Pain's secret.

So these were mine now you guys posts your Favourite and the ones you think are the Strongests.

Personally for me, I had put SOSP on top followed by Hiruzen and Hashirama.

10.Itachi.

Honorable Mentions: Kakashi,Gaara,Mei Terumi.

as far as strongest goes:

1. Hashirama Senju
2. Namikaze Minato
3. Uchiha Itachi
4. Uchiha Madara
5. Pain


If it's top favorite:

Itachi has good speed, a variety of jutsus and Great hand-seal rate. Perhaps the same reason why Kakashi is also in the honourable mentions.

how does minato NOT make an appearance in your strongest 5? speed beats everything else... and he pawned madara 1v1.... so madara makes it but not minato??

^^ He never pawned Madara, Tobi and madara are different, Tobi under estimated the 4th and the battle was a draw. Now i would mention the 4th 6th, tobi can control the deamon tails and he can't!

and if you mention itachi you should mention jriya above him as itachi himself said that the best he could do with jriya was a draw and even if kisame itachi both fought him both would die!

Top 5 Favorite:
1.Itachi Uchiha
2.Minato Namikaze

Was refeering to Raza about jriya. Btw in the fight no one owned anyone it was a draw, guees who ended up alive?? If tobi used his second sharingan he could surely have defeated Minato and didnt Minato himself say to naruto that he was unable to defeat the masked guy? Putting aside that Minato would surely come in my top 10 but behind both jruya and tobi both.

TBH, I only liked Kakashi ever since I first watched Naruto...

But then that quickly changed over to Naruto...

And you bother calling yourself a naruto fan? You put all the narutards to shame. I would also like to mention that character strengths are usually focused upon Base-level (ie No transformations etc) That being said, Minato definitely is top 5 material.

Minato didn't lose to Tobi he single handedly neutralized Tobi, If tobi was holding back so was Minato they didn't show their full potentials and btw Tobi himself said he is weak

Yes i am a Naruto fan and i won't say i am a disgrace.. I have read about almost ever character in detail, watched anime and i follow manga. It is not necessary for a Naruto fan to like Minato. We can't judge who would win and who can't untill they fight to the death but Tobi has displaced more power then Minato uptill now.
