Today i looked VGA charts and i fee like Xbox One sales totally disappointing compare to PC example

Dying Light
PS4=0.74 million sales
Xbox One= 0.38 million sales
PC= 0.65 million sales

Game Database, Best Selling Video Games, Game Sales, Million Sellers, Top Selling - VGChartz
Dying Light - SteamSpy - All the data and stats about Steam games

Middle Earth Shadow Of Mordor
PS4=2.2 million
Xbox One=0.99 million
PC=1.27 million

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - SteamSpy - All the data and stats about Steam games
Game Database, Best Selling Video Games, Game Sales, Million Sellers, Top Selling - VGChartz

Alien Isolation
PS4=0.68 million
Xbox One=0.32 Million
PC=0.44 Million

Alien: Isolation - SteamSpy - All the data and stats about Steam games
Game Database, Best Selling Video Games, Game Sales, Million Sellers, Top Selling - VGChartz

Wolfenstein: The New Order

PS4=1.24 million
Xbox One=0.52 milliom
PC=0.61 million

Wolfenstein: The New Order - SteamSpy - All the data and stats about Steam games
Game Database, Best Selling Video Games, Game Sales, Million Sellers, Top Selling - VGChartz

This is just a example because their are many other games that PC out sold Xbox One in terms of sale like GTA V Xbone owners are 2.7 million whereas PC owners more than 4 million.

I can be wrong though and this just a guess my MS suddenly caring about PC.

The way things are headed I wouldn't be surprised if Xbox One is the last gaming console out of Microsoft. The company has been guilty of developing a poor marketing strategy for its latest console. Got their priorities all wrong.

There was a time when Xbox 360>PS3>PC and now PS4>PC>>Xbox One in term of sales.

Too soon to call it in and throw in the towel, gentlemen. This is a company that succeeded after putting out a product with a horrendous 70% failure rate. You're all forgetting how badly PS3 started off last gen.

At this point nearly all gamers are out for blood due to lack of actual exclusive games in the market. They are too few at this point. Around the end of this year and early next year you'll see good things on both platforms and true competition will begin.

Admit it or not but PS4 is literally only riding off on Microsoft's screwed up initial pitch of the Xbox One, which Microsoft handed to Sony on a silver platter. Let the games come out.

I think sales have less to do with Microsoft's involvement with PC gaming than their current shift in the way they see 'Windows' as a whole. Since Satya stepped in as CEO, Microsoft has effectively corrected themselves as to push Windows as an ecosystem, rather than a piece of software that exists in its own shell.

Everything about Windows 10 speaks to create an ecosystem where each device you own comes with a Windows OS, and even your TV is run off your Xbox, which again, has Windows in it. The one-platform-for-all is a great move and may finally put Microsoft back on the map, and possibly away from their devil-ish, anti-consumer practices that were on their peak in the 90s.

Heck, DirectX 12 alone proves more about Microsoft's commitment to PC gamers than anything else.

Agreed. Too soon to call it in. Let more games come out, especially some sequels of top exclusive franchises.

I don't think they're only prioritizing PC gaming. Satya's vision is big and not limited to PC gaming. The company is focused on their OS and therefore PC gaming becomes a small part of this.

As @USUF said, they're generalizing their OS in any device which the consumer purchases. The statistics which you posted can be one reason out of hundred for Microsoft.

I am more interested about the following part;
"For us, the PC Gaming Show is the ideal place to speak directly to PC gamers, and it’s a great time to talk about Windows 10 - the best operating system we've ever created for gamers on PCs,” Microsoft's Head of Xbox Phil Spencer said. “With Windows 10, we’re bringing the best of Xbox with the best of Windows gaming, including Xbox Live and the new Xbox app, Game DVR for nearly every game, and DirectX 12 for better gaming graphics and performance.”

Xbox Live & the Xbox app. What exactly do they mean by that. Are they going to bring Xbox games to Windows? XBL support for all PC games? A streaming service perhaps? Something like PS Now & Nintendo's NX? OR Something new entirely! We already know from the sales, PC gaming has overtaken their XBOX brand & it is only going to grow further in the future.

And PC gaming market is not 'small' ... almost all the games released on PC are on windows.

Microsoft has already confirmed that they will be looking to make games cross-buyable between PC and Xbox (if they are multiplatform). Also, through the Xbox app in Windows 10, they're bringing co-operative play in certain games, and simple game streaming to your PC in most others. Meaning some games will let you connect your Xbox to your PC via your home network, and someone on your PC can jump in your game simply through the Xbox app and coop with you.

I've had the Windows 10 preview build on my laptop and the Xbox app is simply amazing.The best part is how it lets me view and download my screenshots and videos and it keeps track of media thats been created through the Xbox and PC separately. Thats right, the Xbox app will become your hub of capturing video game screenshots and videos on your PC as well. Hitting "windows + G" button combo will bring up a Windows stylized Game DVR on your screen, letting you capture videos or screenshots like you can on the Xbox.

So you can see how they're trying to connect every Microsoft product through a single OS and providing features that extend beyond just 1 product. With DirectX 12, porting games from Xbox to PC and vice versa will become insanely easy, which further strengthens their cause.

Interesting. The XBL support makes sense then 'cause GFWL rarely worked in cross-platform for me.

I am still waiting on the final release for Windows 10. Can't wait to try it out myself.

I see indeed.

A console is only relevant as long as it retains its exclusivity. If Gears, Quantum Break, Halo and other subsequent Xbox titles are ported over to Windows PC, why buy an Xbox in the first place?

lol no where I said that this means exclusives being redundant.

This is for multiplatforms, obviously. You've got a game that you want to release on PC, XB1 and PS4. Grossly generalizing here, but you essentially only have to worry about porting for PS4 and DX12 now. PC and Xbox One ports will take minimal efforts, which will reduce development cost and possibly increase product quality overall.

Oh no dude. If we're taking a trip down memory lane for all the wrong reasons, we should blame Sony for creating a console that garnered popularity back in 1995. How dare they sow the seeds for gaming to become part of mainstream culture. We were totally fine in our basements with only a handful of financially starved developers making desperate attempts at our money.
