sorry for bieng a noob i wanted to ask 1)how does jtagged xbox 360 lan network works ? the iso dor dark souls is 8gb but when extracted on 3.88gb data ...why ....????

you should have downloaded Jtagrip instead of full game because actual size of dark soul is 3.8gb.

ok i have fcd 2.0rc ...i go in to the file manager and i can see usb and myhdd - in hdd there is no partation3 ..do i have to make that directory -- and then in that make contect/0000000000000

oops! that's a wrong directory...

this is a correct directory if you are playing through internal hdd as a GOD.

forza is on 2 dics -- -do we have to extract files of both disc on to 1 directory and then play on a jtag console ..help

downloaded forza -- they are 2 disc --

ise xbx backupcreator to extract the files to a directory and then copyied that folder to an external usb drive to play on jtag console --- if u just copy disc1 it gives error message re install game again-- if i extract both disc files then it comes up to title screen of forza and says insert disc1

pls help what to do

i notce that i have a slightly old dashboard --- can i update to latest via usb -- will it finish the jtag hack -- if so how do i go by updating to latest dashboard and playing forza 4 and new games

ok i updated to the latest dasg 13599 --- forza works but i cant seem to install disc 2 -- when i copy contents of disc 2 in to same directory as disc 1 --- and launch the game it keeps on saying insert disk 1,...

pls help out here how to install both disc so i get all the cards --- faizy mentioned disc swap program -- but i dont know the setings for it -- what setings have to be changed and where do we place the files
also i tried my level best to update the avatars update via usb but xbox wont boot from usb -- the $sytemupdate folder is there but it does not boot or update the consile with avatar update.

its formated n all -- fat32 but it does not boot from it -- i also changed the ini to accept the update as in dashlaunch but still nothing --- how can i update the avatar update with out destorying the jtag

for people who cant seem to install disc 2 in jtag - just copy the content and media folder on to disc 1 directory thats it - but i would suggest u guys use yarisswap to unlock the dlc as well .

it worked for me -- every thing unlocked now --- epic ..

Just take the 45410950 folder out of the Battelfield 3 folder and drop this folder into content/ 0000000000000000 and you will be good to go. You can only play this game from NXE dash or from file manager in fsd unless you move it from xbla games folder to your 360 games folder

Battlefield 3 Installation Guide for JTAG

Firstly, BF3 can be played in both GOD and XEX format!

This is my own guide after hours of fiddling around my jtag and different ways of BF3 installation. Please bear in mind the guide is just a general guide, and pardon my English btw.. Using DASHLAUNCH 2.23 (13599) and latest FSD

I will explain the difference and installation guide for both ways.

GOD Format (Straight Forward Way)


1. After extraction both Discs into ISOs, use EXISO to extract disc 1 to XEX Folder format.

2. In Disc 1 you will find the Content folder which is the HD installation package (1.5GB), so copy the 45410950 and its sub folder 00000002 to your internal HDD under Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/

3. If you do not have Int HDD or not bigger than 1.5GB, then you can't played the game with the HD package. Gotta accept tat.

4. Once HD package is installed, you will need the title update in order for the package to work. Search for it in the forum (166MB). Install it 000B0000 into the 45410950 where the HD package is installed earlier in the Int HDD. So you will end up with 2 folders under 45410950 now. One folder is TU and the other is the HD package. 00000002 and 000B0000.

6. Once HD package and TU are done, you will no longer need Disc 1. You only need Disc 2 for playing single player campaign. Use iso2god 1.3.6 to convert Disc 2 ISo to GOD format and place the GOD folder either in your internal or external HDD under Content/0000000000000000/. For ext HDD you will need to create the content and 0000000000000000 folders manually and set the scan path to detect it, it will then appear under xbox360 games tab in FSD. Walla and you are done

7. You can still play the game in GOD format without installing the HD package. Just skip to step 6, Not much difference btw my opinion.

XEX Format

1. Install the TU and HD package using the same way in step 1 - 4.

2. Well you can also choose not to install the HD thing. (optional)

3. Using EXISO, extract both ISOs into XEX folder format. Try to name them similarly like BF3 disc 1 and BF3 Disc 2

4. Tricky part is you need BOTH DISC XEX in order to work no matter wat, regardless you only play single campaign mode or you already installed the HD content.

5. Place the 2 xex folders in your usual game folders, (internal or ext works either way, just set the correct scan path)

6. IMPORTANT: you will need Disc Swap plugin for this to work. Read about the disc swap tutorial in the forum.

7. Game will show up in xbox360 games tab in FSD, or you can run it in File manager. works fine either way

Since running it in XEX format is so troublesome and takes up 1 extra disc space, just convert disc 2 in GOD and play the damn game.

I tried playing Arkham City on my jtag but it gave me the "downloadable content is corrupt" error or something to that effect.

I'm on 12611 with dashlaunch 2.2. Does this mean I have to update to play future games?

You have to update your dashboard (13599), I also updated my dashboard and now all games are working fine even Battlefield 3.
