As Alex alluded, the Red Engine wasn't exactly the source of CDPR's problems. The studio over-promised and under-delivered with Cyberpunk 2077, plain and simple. Necrokiller wanted to place them amongst top-tier studios like Nintendo, Rockstar, and Naughty Dog. Woh tou nahi hua, but another tarnished studio rose from the ashes to take its rightful place among them instead. Poor CDPR
