Official launch date is 19th if I'm not mistaken.

EDIT: Worth a read

http://whatifgaming.com/developer-i...-from-2013-list-of-all-features-taken-out-why

Weak console systems forced them to compromise their artistic vision, but they should've at least offered the PC users who aren't held back by the outdated systems or had high end rigs. The lie at this stage about the compromise is simply unacceptable, at least in my opinion.

Thoughts ??

Never played the game before. Don't know whether to play on normal or hard, but I feel like I should start on normal. Necrokiller
You can change the difficulty at any point. Normal should strike a good balance for first time players.

Apparently the market is flooded with the censored version of the game... Its so freaking hard to hold myself but i aint playin the censored version. Any news when will the non censored version be in the market ?

If someone has bought the US version on PSN and is willing to game share please do let me know.

Buy it from GOG for DRM free copy.

Buy on STEAM for the ecosystem like trading cards, acheivements, badges and possible built in mod support.
Reasons to buy from GOG for me
- DRM Free copy
- CD Projekt RED getting the full amount without any third party getting a cut

Reaosns for buying the game on Steam
- Part of catalog
- Easier to install patches
- Chance that GOG might give free copy with Steam key (like they did with previous two Witcher games)

Trading cards, achievements and badges are of no importance for me. With launch of GOG Galaxy it's very likely that GOG won't give free copies with Steam keys and it might make installing patches as easy as it is with Steam.

I have bought the game from GOG. Might buy the Steam version as well when it is available for $5 or less in a sale :D

The stutterfest especially during gameplay/cutscene transition ruins the cinematic story-telling experience on the PS4 (for now).

PC version is the one to get. DF's performance analysis will provide the minimum PC spec to enjoy this game.

You'll be able to run the game at decent level in my opinion. i3 might be a bottleneck but I hope hyperthreading does decent enough job to not make it much of an issue. If processor does become a bottleneck you can always sell that i3 to get an i5 for less than 5k more.

In my opinion anybody who can run the game at decent detail level should get it on PC. When you eventually get better hardware, graphics of your game will improve accordingly. In console terms it's like getting HD or remastered version for free when you buy new hardware.

At this point you should wait for proper benchmarks. Those specs were released 5 months ago so they might not be an acccurate indication for the final builds performance.

Well I don't care for those reviews any more. I gotta play it and I gotta play it.
