I've been away from PC gaming for a while. Just noticed the Sims 4 is out since sometime so I gave it a shot since I an avid fan of The Sims Franchise :D

Played it for 20ish hours and I don't like it so much. The Sims 3 was a HUGE step ahead from The Sims 2 and the lack of loading screens totally changed the game dynamics. For some reasons The Sims 4 has gone back to the The Sims 2 style of gameplay. Which I really don't get

Has anyone else played the game, what are your opinions on it?

I played The Sims 2 few years back, completed the story and played with the characters, settings, lifestyles — all in all, it was so much fun that I became an addict of the franchise.

Then The Sims 3 got released, it was improved with so much additions. Addiction again.

I'll soon try The Sims 4, let's see if it's any better. I heard they added emotions, it seemed like cool stuff. I got involved with other RPG and first/third-person shooter games that Sims 4 skipped out of my list.

I find Sims 4 better, less lags, less bugs, less save corruptions and the build mode, and create a sim features are much better than Sims 3. Loading times are there but usually they are very fast and bearable.
