I am getting the exact same issue and the reason its happening is because of poor routing if you use a vpn your pring and packetless will improve a lot.

I think the lines from exchange to DP are the culprit. Which is two km away. The dp's condition in itself is pathetic and they won't replace it cause of limited number users and all. So I am thinking to install transmission radios, one in exchange and other in my home, to bypass they line. I know it would work fine but has any one tried it and is it reliable.

What frequency will you use?

How will you get permission from the exchange?

Do you have direct line of sight with the exchange?

The frequency of both radios must be same to be locked to each other, I would go with 2.4x ghz but its configurable.

I don't think permission would be an issue, as I would require the same dsl connection at the exchange instead of at my home, feed it in the radio and transmit to the radio at home.

Yes I have direct line of site with the exchange and they would lock perfectly.

2.4GHz is extremely congested, you would get terrible throughput and latency trying to use that.

Permission would definitely be an issue. Have you confirmed with the exchange staff if they will provide a DSL connection at the exchange and then allow you to mount antennas there as well?

I get 1% packet loss sometimes (dota2, SEA). It doesn't really affect the gameplay. I miss the 99 ping to SEA.

Not blocked for me. Using Google as primary DNS.

Hm, I am not that literate about that frequency setting, but that's resolvable by changing it. Whichever gives the best result.
I had told them that I would install a device at exchange tower to rectify the frequent disconnection issue and to be able to use higher bandwidth. And they don't have an issue. After all, only a POE and the redio antenna would be installed which won't be noticeable and it's not that the exchange is crowded or anything as it has limited number of users due to my area being rural.
I would post snapshots of radio configuration portal, installed at field (where I work) used for the very same purpose and they work fine being 20km apart at 2.42ghz I think (will confirm). This is where I got the idea from.

2.4ghz routers/APs have longer ranges, but slower data rate. Also, EVERYBODY uses 2.4ghz routers. That's why it is very congested (too much traffic).
5ghz routers/APs are slightly more expensive, have shorter ranges, but have faster data rates. It is extremely rare to see 5ghz being used in Pakistan that's why there is literally zero interference. I have yet to see a 5ghz channel in my area.

I use a 5ghz router connected to my PTCL modem for 50mbps connection. And I can tell you, the load times, buffering, video quality have SIGNIFICANTLY improved on my 5ghz compared to the shitty 2.4ghz provided by PTCL.

Yes that's right, and you are talking about in home routers, and for that one can afford 5ghz. I am talking about long distance network bridging from exchange to my home for which 5ghz radios are more expansive plus I am in rural area where frequency congestion is not an issue due to limited activity.

Hi guys,

My connection is ASDL. and i requested PTCL to upgrade to VSDL. ASDL Connection is closed since 24 hour. Tomorrow maintenance guy will Install VSDL.

My question is maintenance guy told me, The wire does not need to change. He is friend of my Uncle.

I read comment on few youtube videos. The wire also need to change.

What latency are you guys getting on SEA servers nowadays?
Last time I checked it was 200+ms before ripping the copper wire out of the telephone jack as Stormfiber installation team was here to replace this garbage with a good internet that actually works. Now I get constant 90-100ms on SEA with Stormfiber.
