It took me 5min to open pakgamer and to login and its same with every other website at the moment. Download speed via "Internet download manager" is 150-270 KB/sec on a 50Mbps connection big GG to PTCL.

And Speed test is giving full speed 48 MPBS Down - 24 MBPS UP XD

From my basic testing, the issue is within PTCL's domestic network. Not all domestic speed test servers are fast - most are very slow.

We'll just have to wait this one out as well.

I am on Stormfiber and Twitch, Youtube streaming, browsing is working fine and I am getting full speeds on IDM downloads except for Steam downloads right now.

Edit: Changed steam download region and now the downloads are back to normal.

What is wrong with PTCL this time? Packet Loss is all over the place in all games. No update on this issue on PTCL's end on any of their social media.

Their Twitter feed says there's a submarine cable cut.

If one cable is cut (and only one website corroborates this information, and that says the cut is in Vietnam... our traffic goes the "other way"), then why are the remaining 3 or 4 cables idle?

I don't think this issue has happened with Transworld. Additionally, I think PTCL has put their residential broadband connections on one cable (I may be COMPLETELY wrong, but this is what it feels like) and God forbid, if this cable is cut. But either way, what about the other three cables? What's the point of redundancy if they're not doing their job?!

Can others (Nayatel, Stormfiber, Optix etc.) comment if they're facing slow browsing as well? Can you do traceroutes to random servers and check if the issue persists, please?

This site is not reliable.... for me at least. It shows pretty high pings for no reason while I get normal pings in game.

Getting 280ms ping to first IP and 400ms to second IP. Not sure why its so high but the games I play (Rainbow 6 on SEA server) are not giving me any ping issues.

Same here. I was getting around 100ms on these SEA servers a day before yesterday. EU servers are also unplayable due to severe packet loss.

On some 39.x.x.x ip pool game gives 158ms and on others its giving like 10000ms... it is so ugly to know that same pool has different routing on ips...
On 119.x.x.x ip pool its unplayable
On 182.x.x.x ip pool its unplayable
On 39.x.x.x ip pool its playable on some ips and unplayable on others.
I wish there was some kind of support where we could get our routing issue fixed upto karachi #PTCL #ROUTING is adding upto 40-80ms...

Distance between the local nodes/gateways, sadly. Can't do much about that.

That is exactly my point! Other ISPs have diversified their bandwidth, and so has PTCL (they have four cables), yet when one cable goes down, their internet crawls. Shouldn't the other three cables provide backup? What's all this investment for?

I think it happened once only when both TW1 and PIE were down - then one came back up so some ISPs using both were back to normal, but it took much longer for the "solo" providers to come back up.

Damn you, Nayatel, for covering all areas around me but my area in Bahria... I don't mind paying for slower speeds as long as I get functional service.

i am also in bahria and i have to rely on ptcl
ping is fine on middleeast server in fifa and battlefiedl but they are throttling speed . every thing is super slow in game and browsing

And the ptcl says they are not throttling speeds at peak hours #BIG #LIES

I don't think they are throttling the speeds, it is because of that cable fault imo.
