Yaar kab aaega fiber.. I'm getting 300 ping in BF1 even with Fast path.

It's backend routing issue so I doubt fiber would fix it. 39.x.x.x IP pool is messed up. Keep restarting your modem until you get 182. x. x. x or 119. x. x. x IP pool and pings shoud be fine.

I can't guarantee results if you email to care though. There's this other email that proved much more effective in this matter but it was wiped from this thread for some reason.

Yea im on 4mb. Can't upgrade because the lines are weak af and SNR drops. Waiting for stormfiber. My colony (askari 9) are not granting them the permissions. Cant play the games i want to.

One of my complains must have landed in the right place.. Both linemen and a senior technical guy came today and asked what was wrong because they'd been instructed by someone higher up (than usual) to make sure everything is fine on my end.

I told them I hadn't registered any complaint recently, besides the fast path stuff. My line is still effed up (6mb sync on a 15mb connection) but I'm gonna live with it for a while, till we get fiber here. I told them its ok I'll lie to 1218 but get me fiber asap :tv:

I've been experimenting with IPTV services (subscription based). Finding the right service is tough, since these services exist outside the ISP's network and are prone to buffering especially on HD channels (despite me having 25Mbps fiber).

Money well spent? Well, you get an EPG, and tons and tons of channels from abroad (Orbit Showtime, Sky, other European channels, several Indian, Pakistani and other countries including American) - but the servers sometimes are choked on bandwidth depending on which channel you're viewing... But since no IPTV service is buffer free, it's actually still pretty neat.

And you get a massive selection of channels. But l digress.

It should be around 160, since that is what most of my friends get, and it's weird because they have a regular DSL connection whereas I have fiber. My ip pool is 39 if that matters. PTCL recently changed the routing for 39.45.x.x to improve pings to Asia (Singapore), however it negatively affected pings to Europe and US.

I'm just going to assume this affected 39.46.x.x as well since another user who's on the 39.45 pool has very similar CloudPing results.

Interesting. But the problem is that I can hardly ever get into the singaporean server for fortnite, like one out of 7 games. I get into tokyo most of the time. So playing on europe is really the only option.

I mainly play Rainbow 6 on SEAS servers but while running pingplotter today I saw like 200ms+ ping to hop 9 but the ping on the last hop is fine at around 115ms. Is this something to be concerned about? I didn't get time to get on and play this week so I am just curious to know if this can have negative impact on gaming experience?
