And... PTCL decided to die. About an hour ago. And 48 hours is their TAT. And today's a Saturday.

I doubt they'll come in 48 hours, considering how long they took to install the connection in the first place.

Nayatel hasn't arrived here yet. They've just launched in Abubakar Block.

Welcome to the stoneage. I'm glad I have my phone data connection, but tethering isn't always practical.

Edit: Mobilink 4G is fine, but 3G is a lottery - on 900Mhz - and they won't fix it. Ugh!

Ha ha ha only way to get them to fix it would be to tell Faiz that you want to disconnect their line ;P

On a serious note tho, this makes me appreciate TWs customer support a lot more.

My dad in KSA pays for 25mbps but speed is around 100mbps 24/7 and here we have PeeTCL failing to provide constant 20mbps even though they are the largest ISP in Pakistan.

Maybe you should live in Saudi Arabia and their filtered internet where things don't work without a decent VPN. You won't be happy here.

And yes, internet here is crap but your comment isn't exactly constructive criticism - it just gets classified as whining now.

Please don't take it personally - but to a third person, this is what it looks like. I know PTCL isn't the best option you may have, but it may be the only option you have. Or pay more money and use 4G. Or move abroad.

Tell me why are all we here for? To complain about our internet issues and i am really frustrated right now with their pathetic service. Tell me what do you mean by "things"? Gaming on international servers, streaming, downloading, uploading works fine. What do you mean by filtered internet? They only block the haram stuff on the internet which can be unblocked with a free VPN and for your kind information PTCL also blocks random sites for no reason even though they are fine. Yes, I love to rant when I am frustrated. If you don't like it then leave me alone please.

Censorship is censorship, we as consumers have every right to navigate to wherever we want on the internet. It's not like KSA is a shining example. They only just recently allowed women to drive, too. But this is getting off-topic.
We feel you, we all do. Hopefully things get better for everyone suffering from internet problems.

Guys I am really sorry for that comment. I am really frustrated with PTCL and their constant copy paste replies. Its true that every country have their problems. I was wrong and sorry if I offended anyone. We should end this here.

my ptcl internet just stopped working every thing is fine, dsl and intetnet are connected and fine but packets are not receiving from wan, 1218 guys dont have a clue, they just raised a complaint

Had a similar issue once, everything was connected but I didn’t have an external IP. It was unable to grab one until I restarted the modem several times. Did you try restarting it?

yes tried several times, i am being assigned to the wan ip too, but internet doesnt seem to work, its been like this since last night
