What's the ISP scene in Peshawar? Also, how many competitors and how good is their coverage?

No, I'm not packing my bags to come to Peshawar. I've been there - twice - to attend weddings. In probably Peshawar's only wedding hall as well lol.

Peshawar has Nayatel and StormFiber (although I think SF has the edge when it comes to coverage cause they were there first).

Rumour has it that Fiberlink is also offering connections in Peshawar.

ShitCL is also upgrading people to VDSL in select locations.

And lastly, there's Frontier Broadband (which I don't think anyone has ever heard of). They don't have any wired infrastructure AFAIK, they provide internet via Ubiquiti AirFiber antennas. No idea about their packages, or their backhaul, whether it's PIE based or TW based, but they're available in most parts of Peshawar.

I think PTCL is blocking twitter for me. The website and app is really slow for me and most of the time messages dont get sent. If I use a vpn app then everything is fine and no more problems.
Can someone shed some light on this?

probably be a routing issue for you, i used to have same problem but now it is resolved, you can try and do a tracert to twitter.com to see what problem are you facing

The issue is not with cookies because i am using Twitter official app. I have cleared its data and reinstalled the app a couple of times but still same. It's slow loading and sometimes it doesnt load a thing. It only happens on my phone though using it on my laptop is okay btw. And if I use a vpn in my phone then it's better. So i have no idea what's going on.

Traceroute gives me the same results on my phone. But still I am unable to use twitter properly. Sorry I cant use another phone. Other websites open normally and no problem there.

Disable your firewall, disable your antivirus, use another browser, use private browsing (or incognito mode), check that you don't have malware or toolbars installed, or other extensions/plugins. Disable your adblocker as well.

So my 6mb connection was running fine up untill now, when they replaced some cards in the exchange, and all connections reverted to 1mbps including mine, but after complaining again and again my port was re-assigned to 6mbps but now I would not connect on adsl2+, and continue to disconnect, i can only connect on g.dmt mode with half the speed, so i reduced speed to 2mb from 6mb, but still i am unable to connect on adsl2+ but g.dmt is working somewhat better with reduced speeds,

all this activity goes to show that their lame excuses about underground wires is plain BS, all it depends on exchange equipment which they always fucks up time to time

After going back and forth over email with PTCL about the random bill, and having repeated the same thing 472 times, I finally get this not so generic sounding reply, but I'll only believe it when my complaint is actually solved quickly and the emails aren't replied to after 5 days of me sending them.
