I also have this disconnection problem. I looked at my router stats and it showed me that my SNR margin is 10.4, Should I also get my Dabbi changed, will this solve the disconnection issue ?

Well in my case the lineman checked out my line multiple times and said it was fine. He himself said that it was the "Dabbi on the pole" hence why I'm trying to get it changed. The dabbi itself is in bad condition looking at it physically. It has no cover is rusted to hell and idk even know how my internet works seeing all that rust in those joints.

I have also tried to contact Nayatel, they told me that they would survey my area, in the evening i received a text message that nayatel is not available in my area. Now the funny thing here is that when i come home from office, i have to walk from my street entrance to my home and on my way i found almost 20 houses where the nayatel logo was pasted '' this premises is connected through nayatel fiber''. I believe nayatel is lying, they never even bothered to visit my area. what a bunch of assholes...

i am still facing internet disconnects sometimes my line stats are very good 25 30db and sometimes they are very low 5 10db. I have changed my telephone wiring from pole to pure copper pair changed my house wiring to cat6 24awg pure copper changed filters still suffering from same issue. But when i put my phone on hold no disconnects. I also sent emails to PTA many times still issue not solved.

One more thing not so many disconnects at midnight but in the morning internet disconnects frequently.

Same problem with me but my SNR margin is always around 10 or 12 db. So I either tweak the SNR through telnet or use a small blue LED connected with a 1K resistor to do the same for me. But I never connect the phone because if I use the phone SNR doesn't change much but the speeds fall to great extent.

Copper wire won’t change things .the real thing is to have gpon optic fibre cable or else a person gets zaleel .

Get a VDSL copper wire installed. This can give speeds up to 100MB without any problems.

Don't give them ideas; just ask them to upgrade you to VDSL. Rest is their crap headache.

GPON doesn't come from a pole, it comes from a cabinet and the cables are laid underground.

You can probably get VDSL instead.

True that. But my lineman did tell me himself that the DP not just being naked (as it has been for the past 2 years.) but in fact is a bit fk'd up and doesn't allow any line to sustain more than 2mb because of it now. not even 4mb runs properly which was working fine 2 months ago. There was a spark at the pole 2 months ago the light went out for a couple of hours and after it came back It has been like this ever since.

i went to exchange for it so many times nothing happened i suggest you one thing don't close your complaint unless ptcl change this DP or fix your internet.

That is another thing I'm pissed about right now. Opened up a complaint on the 17th last month. Every time they called I pressed 2 and on every message, I replied with "N". Yet 2 weeks later I get a message that my complaint has been closed. And now I had to reopen a new one and it's a whole new cycle and idk if these people running the company like a mob will close the complaint in another 2 weeks or not. So If I do go up to them and say "Net 2 month sa nai chal raha" they won't give it much attention as my complaint would've only been open for less then a week. Hence they have less pressure.
