Well idk but the max upload on 8mb is supposed to be 2mb the rest is for smarttv he probably didn't have it set up properly in modem... Or it could have been a temporary thing or something :/

lolol. These types of announcements are hilarious. For the last couple of months, they still haven't been able to figure why my SNR margin has been jumping all over the place. This project will end up being delayed a few years and will eventually be implemented haphazardly in a few selected areas.

Wsalam. Seems to b line issue bcuz snr is too less and you may exp disconnections. Snr for 8 mb profile shld b arnd 20 or in some cases users get around 26 as well. At least it should be 15.

Get ur line checked.

Edit: mine 8mb dsl has 11 mb down rate with smart tv n snr down stream remains between 20 to 23.

Hello brother. so yea i switched to g.dmt now my disconnections have been reduced but it still disconnects randomly other then that my speed has been capped to 6mbps and when i enable ADSL2+ it goes back to 8mbps can u explain this?

Not sure abt g.dmt as didnt used it. Once it automatically switched to g.dmt n reduced my rate bt restarting modem switched me back to normal mode.

snr is toooo low. for an 8mb it should be 25+.... at minimum it should be 10. complain on 1218 and get ur line checked.

My brother reseted the modem settings.. After that my internet is not working

DSL Light (ON)
Internet Light (OFF)

I also followed the "Easy installation" steps which were written in Quick Installation Guide. But still not working.
[Click easy installation > Insert PPP Username/Password > Apply/Save > Click Advance Setup > Modify connection > Modify connection Parameters > Save/Reboot]

Any help on where should i go in settings and what should i do? I have vDSL connection

VDSL has an extra setting and a unique vmuxid .. u need to contact PTCL and they will do the setting accordingly.

My Internet and Phone got dead three days ago and i complained to PTCL guessing that it is something wrong at the backend but when the lineman checked our DSL Splitter was bad so he threw it and just taped the wires together and didn't use DSL Splitter, for that moment i didn't have a problem because i just wanted my internet back.

But i need a permanent solution to it so wires don't get bad again due to water or outside damage. I search Internet and found out a device called "DSL Pots Splitter" which is used to hold all the wires inside and split them to phone and internet, i am attaching it's image and video below for reference.
