You are talking about routing. It's been more than 36 hrs and they can't refresh my port which can be hardly done in less than 5 mins. Stop expecting anything from these bunch of incompetent and corrupted chutyas. Just bear with them until some good FTTH isp is available in your area.

I recently shifted from 4mb to 10mb transformation package, before i use to have 300SNR but now it has dropped to 180 what could be the reason?

Can someone tell me why i'm getting timed out on the 3rd hop? The first 2 are my routers. i have connected directly to the PTCL router, but to no avail. It's like this on all websites' trace routes. My browsing has been shit and I can't even connect to my VPN because of this.

SNR drops as you increase the line rate.

If you increase the package to, 16 or 20 Mbps for example, your SNR will drop further.

So is my SNR good for 10mb? i guess it is i am getting good speed with no disconnections.

I have now requested them to shift my connection to VDSL i guess my speeds will improve further?
will VDSL connection require new router or it will work with the same ADSL router?

Is anyone else on PTCL getting mad packet drops too? It's been unplayable for me, on EU servers at least. Seriously pissing me off. Can't wait till Nayatel gets active here next month...

There is extreme Packet Loss on routing going through atlas.cogentco.com & telia.net

So it has been almost 3 days since I've knock the doors on every forum, lodged complaint on 1218, ptclcares twitter, some guy on facebook who's sales manager Even went to the exchange. And still they simply don't want to resolve my issue which is merely a matter of not more than 5 mins, which is just to refresh or reconfigure my port. In complete despair now and nowhere to go. Abuses will lead to ban PTCL

Call 1218 and ask them for a call back from IT/Technical Department. If I remember correctly this is how my port was refreshed. The guy who called me said my port was needed to refresh and then he refreshed it while on the call.

Those sync rates seem fine And you only get max 2mb upload with a 8mb package.

Well idk but the max upload on 8mb is supposed to be 2mb the rest is for smarttv he probably didn't have it set up properly in modem... Or it could have been a temporary thing or something :/

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
