i have dual 12mb lines from ptcl using a load balancer - get about 24mb on torrents etc -

but why i cant reach the same on speedtest

After a lot of shit from PTCL I finally got it replaced by nayatel annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be. Google is surely faster than before, youtube is sort of the same, facebook is slower than it used to on PTCL (when it works normal) and the Goddamn video still dont go beyond 3 seconds!. The pings are insane though. The customer service is the best I have ever experienced till date, at first I thought the nayatel guys were acting all good for some money like the desi ptcl lineman but the concern for the customer is genuine. I never thought I'd get the this sort of customer service in Pakistan. The technical help guys are also much more professional but all in all the internet is not much better

Since yesterday wifi stops and I have to restart the router.

Buy a 2000 tp link router and connect it with the ptcl router. Your zindagi will change. Although now a days ptcl has been facing problems because of the shit underwater cables which are out of service for more time than they are in service. But still I felt a big difference when I got the tp lick router on my 8mb connection

Yes they do.
Very limited areas of coverage but they're expanding.

Ummm, F-11, Bahria Enclave, F-8 (I think) and maybe others. Not really sure.

They're also working on it in Bahria Town pindi.
Some areas are done and some are almost done.

Yes they do, but in very limited areas as someone else mentioned. They installed GPON in my area because the condition of their phone lines here was abysmal. Even 4 mbps internet wouldn't be stable. Call them up on 1236 and ask if they offer GPON in your area.

Yes, although it's not just today. It's been like this for nearly 3 weeks now. Something is going on with the undersea cable. I hope they fix it soon though.
