same thing here but my local exchange(Wah Cantt) said fiber is coming in dec so i am waiting for it.

dude, same is happening with me, it was working fine when i had 6200 down line rate, but now my line rate automatically raised to 7100 i am getting continues disconnections, i have complained let see what happens, it it doesn't get fixed, i might have to go back to 2mb [emoji23]

Your SNR margin is good enough to handle 10 Mbps speed. your attainable rate is 25 Mbps in downstream. but its very low on upload stream side.
if u want to upgrade just call 1218 and request for upgrade. it will take 15 to 20 mints and your stats will upgrade.
you can easily downgrade anytime by requesting on 1218.

no i didn't send stat screen shot to PTCL twitter but i did file the complain there.

Send them the screenshot and highlight or circle the part where it shows '4094' as the downstream rate. That way at least they'll know what to change.

Hi, I wanted to know if there is someone using Comsats internet service in Islamabad (Bhara Kahu to be specific). I am about to order their 5mbps package as PTCL lines in my area are all grounded. Just want to make sure that comsats internet service is worth the price (Rs. 3400).

I was about to, but decided against it due to the high costs. 5 Mbps for 3400 is ridiculous, we're not living in 2008 anymore.

They do however use Ubiquiti backhaul and CPE, so you should get a reliable connection cause that's some really fancy equipment.

Thank you for the quick reply. Is there any good option other than Comsats? I need at least 150GB data limit... WiTribe was giving 150GB package but they are no longer providing new connections... Zong4G dongle has 75GB data limit...

So what are the options...?

Unfortunately there aren't many options left.

Have you checked with Nayatel if they're available there?

Yes, Nayatel was my first priority and I emailed them about the availability of their service in my area but unfortunately they don't provide services here....

I think I confused an ONU with a fibre cabinet. The maximum speed offered here is 20 Mbps.

Sab bakwas hai. Inka network peak hours mai marjata hai aur routing tu itni lun hai ki asian servers pr 500ms ping ati hai jab ki Saudi Arabia sai East coast USA servers pr meri 130-140ms ping ati thi.
