Well generally ADSL+ is used, but the problem seems to be your line. It has some interference somewhere. Lodge a complain and get it checked.

This annex m mode is in my ptcl modem settings, but i cant use it yet. i have it selected but i only get adsl2+ mode connection. Do you know anyone who is in this beta testing currently?

i was. may be they havent turned it on from backend. when they turn it on it will be something like Adsl 2+ - Annex M (EU - 60)

I am a total noob so please forgive me.

I've been using ZXDSL 831CII (WiFi = no) modem for the last 2.5 years and it has been working fine (thanks to the help from the previous PTCL thread). I have the white AN1020-25U modem which I want to use for WiFi only.

1.Is it possible to configure and use both modems seperately = ZXDSL 831CII for main system and AN1020-25U for WiFi?

2.Please tell me the settings required to get the AN1020-25U working for WiFi. I didn't use WiFi when I was using this modem and haven't used the modem itself for the past 2.5 years.

I have 2MB unlimited connection and it has been working perfectly, I just want to use WiFi now too.

I can confirm that im on 39 pool and all ips below 39.42.192.x are showing such high pings. I contacted ptcl and they sed they know the issue and a team is currently investigating.

they told me the same thing dwag in reality they dont even knew about latency and shiet i m done

Not sure about 119, but I get good pings and speed on 39.x IPs.
yes the pings are even better than the previous ones only to closed servers but the prob is i mostly played on german servers so pings are higher than the old onces till now i noticed 182. pool is best for german servers

DXB is 400+ for me too.

Singapore and Europe are fine though.

Does PTCL provide GPON fibre optic connectivity to 4MB users also? My friend got 8MB and said he has GPON fibre optic connectivity which proves quite effective while gaming online.

Surprising that he got it with 8Mbps, the minimum requirement for GPON is a 12 Mbps package.

Facebook is Comparatively fine than other websites, Cant even connect to Ea/Playstation even PG is not accessible it loads up after multiple refreshes.
