well yeah in a way you can say so....look at that....Schumi was dominating with ferrari and then renault stepped in ....then after 2 years it was Ferrari Vs McLaren again.....then after 2 years it was Brawn then REDbull era and now this year again it looks like McLaren has the best car and ferrari will challange them....Its a pattern^
You pointing towards the 2005-2006 season?
2001 Schumacher (Ferrari)
2002 Schumacher (Ferrari)
2003 Schumacher (Ferrari)
2004 Schumacher (Ferrari)
2005 Alonso (Renault)
2006 Alonso (Renault)
2007 Kimi (Ferrari)
2008 Hamilton (McLaren)
2009 Button (Brawn)
2010 Vettel (RBR)
2011 Vettel (RBR)
If you look at that you can see that Ferrari was dominating and then a lower level team stepped up and won the title twice....and the it was Ferrari and McLaren for the 2007-2008 seasons and then Brawn came in with his Blown diffusers and what not and brawn won it the next year....then 2 years were dominated by RBR ...now if we look at this season we can see that Ferrari has the race pace and the right strategy but they need to work on their qualifying sessions....McLaren is a force but their car lacks a bit of race pace....if you see Ferrari is really good when it is racing but not good in qualifying...The KERS seem to have problems in qualifying and the first qualifying session was unlucky for Ferrari...
The first race...Alonso jumped many positions ...
In the second race he jumped 8 positions that shows that they have really good race pace and a great pit strategy....
Mercedes has 2 great drivers but they cannot perform if their race pace sucks and quite frankly their pit strategy is SHIT....
Red bull isn't the force it used to be...Vettel....I can see him joining Ferrari if Massa is sacked
