Ufone never write to Stock Exchange that from first January 2024 they will control Telenor Pakistan (you are always welcome to share source).
PTCL (Ufone parent company) wrote to stock exchange that their BOG has been authorised to submit a binding offer to acquire a target company (never mentioned Telenor but seems obvious). PTCL asked a World Bank subidery for $ 400-500 Million loan to purchase a target company. This might take 1-2 months. After that in December Telenor BOG will consider binding offer of PTCL and from a Labenese company. And they can accept any of them which would seem viable for them. Once any one's offer get accepted they will inform Stock Exchange, SECP, State Bank, CCP and PTA. After informing SE they both companies will file acquisition request to SECP, Once got approval from SECP they need to get approval from CCP. After CCP approval state bank will oversee monetory transactions and give NOC. After that NOC PTA will allow both companies for aquisition/merger and oversee full process so that no customer of both companies get affected.
After acceptance of binding offer, thay might have announce the acquisition but to consolidate operations it requires at least a year and so. So stop spreading rumoured news.
But you are always welcome to post articles related to development of the acquisition.
