Around 8 - 10 Mbps, talking about prepaid though.

Postpaid is considerably higher, both in Bahria and elsewhere.

With a combined spectrum of approx 15 (14.8) MHz in the 1800 band, their 4G will be something we Pakistanis could never have imagined.
Generally, having 15 MHz of non aggregated frequency in one band should yield good results.

Let's wait and see.

Combined spectrum? I doubt it. Warid used it's 1800mhz spectrum because it didn't have many users on it, and was apparently technology neutral (so was Telenor's, but they couldn't use it because of the amount of users they have).

Mobilink won't forego it's existing 1800Mhz for 4G - they'll just reuse Warid's spectrum instead. I think.

They will, however, have a greater 900Mhz spectrum and be able to use that for voice calls. But for data? I don't think there'll be any improvement due to spectrum enhancements (which won't really work).

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is 4G LTE Supported but its showing H+ if i use mobile data. and i called help lined and ask the guy he said u need to replace ur sim to use 4G..

Yes, you need to visit Zong Office or Franchise to get a new 4G SIM card issued.
It's silver and has the Zong 4G logo on it.

Old SIM cards are 2G and 3G only.

Given that most users are not 3G subscribers, it makes sense if they'd reserve a chunk of their 1800Mhz spectrum for voice and basic data. Not everyone can fit in the 900Mhz spectrum - Warid tried that, and see where they are right now. Warid could also barely pull it because they had 1/3 of the subscriber base Mobilink has.

But ultimately, it depends on Mobilink.

So, after a month, upload speed has improved and download speed has decreased marginally. I'm also experiencing minor lag and disconnections since few hours.

Customer Care didn't tell, only mentioned that you will receive improved speeds in a few days/ a week or so.
Also, I'm receiving better speeds in low density areas ( 3 Mbps - now 5-6 Mbps ) since a month.
