Just read some articles for some vocabulary words for the first question in paper 1. Question 2 is quite easy, usually there is an option of letter available which is easiest. Question 3 is difficult for some students but I think translation can become quite easy by practice. Look in the past papers and the words which you cant translate, just use google translate for that. I got 19/20 in translation in my mock after such practice .
For paper 2, part 1= Bachoun wala sentences....... part 2 is also easy as they have given the example for sentence transformation, part 3 requires understanding of some difficult words but usually I get 5/5 in cloze passage.
Then summary....... again you need to learn vocabulary words from Urdu articles to make your summary as short as 100 words. Comprehension........ we've been doing since the beginning of school, so yeah Urdu is very easy if you are a Pakistani plus you can score even better marks if words of difficult Urdu are spoken at your home and you've been listening to them since childhood.

Half my family speaks Sindhi, the other half English, so I don't get to hear any Urdu at home.
And my stupid school started Second Language just a few months ago. And now they expect all students to ace the paper -_-

WHAAAATTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!! NO URDU AT HOME??????

Now thats difficult. And what about the literature done in junior classes? You should read those books to get help in writing, watch some old pure urdu TV shows, keep practicing from past papers. Also, watch and hear Urdu from news channels, they use classic urdu. And the main problem you should face is with mahaawraath. For that you should find a book by Mujeeb-ur-Rehman helpful.

Second language is without shairi and all right? If so you don't need to worry much its pretty easy. Hell you don't need to study much, just get your urdu vocab and learn a couple of metaphors. Its an easy paper, honestly I studied one day before and still got an A

So umm guys i have my O level finals in may ( I'm in O3 ) And there's one month left. I currently suck at mathematics and will probably get tuition starting in a day or two... My subjects are Bss, Economics and accounting and i have second language urdu. Any tips ? P.s i already got a B (Pak studies) and C (In islamiat :/ ) ... I suck at urdu too.

And i forgot to mention i have a very short attention span, i can't sit for 30 minutes studying without fidgeting with my phone or starting up my pc.

The same thing happens to me. Phone and Computer are the worst distractions ever. But if you shut them down, you'll only think about them more. Mentally prepare yourself that you have to set aside a few hours for studying each day. I've got CIEs in a month too. My mocks are ending tomorrow. I'll take 3 days off, just doing stuff I like. And after that, I'm gonna set a schedule and follow it strictly. No phone or computer in between. Just pure studying and practicing for Math.

U hv same prob as mine, I also can't study for more than 1 hour and while studying, I always hav mobile in my hand

Bhai Urdu ka paper aya tha took me 25 minutes to read the paper... then had to ask the invigilator what the essay topic meant.

Lagta bhi hai. :/

CIEs in a month. Tense.

Got 79% in Pak Studies and 75% in Islamiat in mocks. I didn't prepare well. History exam went awful. 66% in history and 93.33% in Geography.

I slept during Physics P2 ya something else which was with Add Math P1. Spent the night studying AM and whatever the other paper was got 3 hours of sleep. Midway during the other paper the invigilator wakes me up and says, 'Aap raat ko soyaye nai thay?'.

Lol. The tension of maths didn't let me sleep, the only paper I got to sleep in was Urdu.
