Why?? I find it easier than Math. That is, unless I'm tired and cannot solve despite knowing. That's my biggest fear. I'll have Sociology 2 aswell and I need to do all four chapters for that (though I'm thinking of doing any two and saying fuck it to the rest).

I was scratching my head for 35 minutes thinking what could be a possible reason for the weird polarity.

Couldn't pick between 'placed with other magnets' or 'was an old magnet'. Tried looking around but it was not helping. Impossible to see, verbally maybe, but kon risk laita aik mark kay peechay. Ended up picking old magnet which is a pretty fking stupid option, but I had no slight idea about it lol.

The rest of the paper was flawless though. And surprisingly small too.

Marking Schemes were introduced Jun 2004 so you'll only find examiner reports for Jun and Nov 2003. (i.e <>. Let me know once you've taken it so that I can remove the link.

I have a theory to answer that question, we could have written the poles as North/south or south/north, basically writing the explanation such that: the experiment shows that the magnet is still magnetized, however, due to the wrongly placed compass needles ( which points along the magnetic field lines ) the polarity of the magnet or magnetic field lines cannot be judged properly by the experiment due to a placement error.

Just my thought on it.

Bio MCQ: Hard | Theory/ATP: Easy.

Physics MCQ: Hard | Theory/ATP: Easy.

Chemistry MCQ: EASY | ATP: EASY | Theory: HARD

MCQs, not so good, but the theory should cover that up. For me at least.

What was hard in the theory? I could've done better in P1 but I had come back after giving two papers the day earlier, of which one was surprisingly longer than Islamiyat. D=
That, and the fact that I was studying Add Math yesterday.

I wasted so much time in balancing and creating equations in paper 2, had to do the last 2 questions in 15 minutes.

I found the MCQs to be ...challenging and the Theory a walk in the park. What did you find hard in it? What question.

MCQs may not have been hard. It just had been a fking long time since I had done them, plus since I got back at around 5 and did Add Math before sleeping, my Chem was all rusty (MCQs).

It's sad that they put in two compulsory questions from ATP topics, but oh well. Would've loved to have seen a tougher Organic question (Aldehydes and Alkynes, and nanotubes etc) where one has to actually think out of the box and apply Chem skills alongside logic. But oh well. Couldn't have had asked for a better paper considering how exhausted I was during the exam.

That is what i do best, i hope it saves me.

Here are all the mistakes i probably made ( i think ):

-Question 2: wrote Alumunium.

-Got the KOH concentration wrong. ( used 50cm3 as volume )

-I have no idea if ANY of my equations are correct.

- Nylon structure wrong, umm, the other structure we had to draw wrong.

I don't remember what else, was probably more.

What did you find challenging in the mcq's!?!!? they were like... applying butter on bread.. ( that's hard shit though, :/)

I couldn't do anything for chemistry at ALL, as in, i didn't prepare anything.. i didn't try to succeed, just like urdu, and i probably think i will be punished for it, but, that's my fault.

specially question 2 and 4 messed them bith big time

MCQ's were easy, I screwed up Question 2 in theory and draw the Amide link in a rush, I wrote Silver Nitrate as a white precipitate
I hope it's correct
