tower distance has nothin to do with speed its the load that effects speed. As i have a zong tower at installed literally sleep under it speed is around 15mbps max never got above it.
Asked the engineer he said we have provided 22mbps bandwidth for each tower here i.e for 3g don know abt 4g as we don have it yet.

How much speed are you guys getting on telenor 3g? I'm getting 1mbps which is pathetic. Anyways to improve it like installing new APN settings or something?

maybe. But i'd like to know. I use a Nexus 5, i get H+, but my speed seems to be capped at around 45 kbps, which is pathetic.

I'm using Telenor in Islamabad, doesn't matter which area. Its the same everywhere.
Just called their help line, it was really unhelpful

He is using Hotspot .. it depends on the area.. I am a Telenor user as well (Not using now though) but I always get 8-10Mbps on speedtest.. :)

Yeah I'm using it through the Huawei CharJi modem right now, but even when I use it directly through my phone, I get the same speeds, in fact, it's even better when I use it directly through my phone! :) Will definitely share a screenshot the next time I use it on my phone.

It's Ufone which is pathetic in my area. After PeeTCL, it's Ufone with the worst speeds where I live. Telenor and Zong are just awesome, here! Ufone ke toh signal b nai aate sahi se!

Btw, have you guys checked out Telenor's new 3G packages? 30 GB for Rs.1500 and 20 GB for frickin' Rs.1100 and that too inclusive of taxes!!! PeeTCL is screwed BIG TIME, now!!! :D

    why you are paying american rates in Pakistan. Search cheaper region like Turkey. 13k for 13 months. Ms does not care
