Sir this is connected to my pc , Xbox 1 360 , ps4 and Apple TV by which I play 7.1 Dolby dts and atmos movies
Well got this from homeshoping.pk @69k with shiping to door step , for the speakers i got full range panasonic tallboy speakers rated at @150watt each for cetner yamaha centre and 2 yamaha book shelf for the 7.1 channel and for woofers 2 cyprus 200watt woofers for a total of 400watt of boom boom and connected every thing to the receiver , xbox 1 /. 360 / ps4 / apple ctv etc etcNice....how much did it cost u? and from where did you get it?
I have a similar Onkyo 7.1 setup...minus the atmos / 4K ....
And Niceeee @ the number of HDMI supported
well the best part is it auto set every thing i ran the config wizard and picked out the ideal setings for all speakers
panasonic 4 @ full range speakers with its own 2 dedicated centre but i am using yamaha as centre and 2 yamama book shelf for the extra 2 surround speakers for 7.1 , 2 cyprus @200watt woofer ...at a later stage would be geting onkyo dolby atmos speakers they are for 14k ,
so far loving the experience , watched in 4k gravity in full dolby surround and it was fantastic , sound comign from every direction . nice immersive exp .
why didnt u go for 11.1 avr for full atmos experience, 7.1 setup in atmos will work as 5.1.2, also try experimenting placing your two surround speakers in front height coz i heard rather placing upfiring atmos speakers its best to place two physical speakers in front height
Who is going.to pay for such an amp to.expensive plus this suits.me.well, I am.selling.my demon.a1se might go.for.an.onkyo 838 or a.9.1 set up let's see

i guess $ 780 well spent , but these are 3 times more expensive then logitech / hell even on amazon they are priced well over usd 800/- ...

what are you planning to drive them through ? A pc sound card or dedicated av amp...
yes they are best in class,no doubt...but they are not that enjoyable in loud as in lows and mids volume....
i was driving them with ZXR and oxygen free silver plated cables...

Yeah 480 , a 1080 is 700 usd card
2 480 400 usd more or less powerful then 1080 and with drivers will get better .
That 300 dollar diff is huge .......

1080 is a 600 USD card, 700 USD is for Founder's Edition only which is useless.
You can get custom AIBs for cheaper such as Asus Strix variant for $620 and $640.
NVIDIA has yet to release drivers for Pascal which will increase its performance according to them.
So your difference is only $200 and comparing SLI/CrossFire setup against a single card is not sane.
If you want more power, always go for a single most powerful card because of compatibility issues in many modern programs and games.

I might SLI 2x 1070 with new SLI bridges myself once proper reviews for AIBs are out instead of a single 1080.
Mainly because it'll be easier and faster to sell 1070 in few months than a single 1080 in favor of 1080 Ti, lol.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
