If there is written region 3 on the box then its NTSC-J and the price for hdd is okay but you can bring 360 to 22k by negotiating.And sure it was Pal because Pal is available for 22K.

You mean for 22k its a PAL Jasper. Is it ok to get a PAL? I understand NTSC games are freely available so I was opting for the NTSC. Pls advise.

bro pal games are availble mostly on pg bcoz guys here burn them for u otherwise they are very hard to find in the local markets which are dominated by ntsc-j or uc.

Dude...I am in the same shoes you are. I am looking for a NTSC-J here in Karachi as well. A PAL Jasper is available for 22K here. I have been advised to get atleast a 20 GB Hard Drive as to save the grinding of lens etc., so if you have some dough get one. I would appreciate if guys here tell me the approx. price of NTSC- J Jasper in Karachi.

The Xbox360 in the above link is a 256mb , I want a 512 Mb. What will be the price for a 512Mb? Must be atleast 2k more? pls advise

Estimates of Prices of Xbox 360 consoles are written on the first post of the General Xbox 360 FAQ thread. Since its pakistan, you'll only get estimates since the price of any product isn't the same from one shop to the next.

Dude....the only thing here is that the prices of consoles are way high here. Recently the price of the low end 360 is only US$ 199 which comes to Rs. 16500/= by the current exchange rate. The rest is pocketed by the low lifes (shopkeepers) being the commission, cost of bringing it from abroad, modding charges etc. No wonder a lot of people prefer bringing it from abroad as it is way cheap out there (google it on the net and search for the price). The stock market here is going up and down. Never seen the price of consoles fluctuating so badly as the price of shares does (yup I know the KSE inside out)(bow)

I didn't bother to ask him to show me the manufacturing date or the power rating .. was too shocked by the name "jasper" written on it
