Definitely not, just make sure your drive has bee spoofed correctly and properly cuz i've seen some people on xboxscene having problems playing games on their spoofed drive after installing NXE. Their problem was that they didn't do the spoofing correctly. Otherwise, it doesn't make any diffference updating to NXE before or after the spoof.

pop your disc in, use your Guide Button to go to My Xbox Channel, select Install to Drive and you’re done.
You can't play games without disc.

^Yes it can be modified but you'll have to pay a hefty amount of approx rupees 7-8k because your Xbox 360 will have the Lite-on DVD drive and you'll have to swap it for a different drive which cost a lot.
In Pakistan the best Xbox 360 version to get would be the Asian or NTSC/J version. Both versions are same in terms of running the games available in the Pakistani market, the only difference between the two is the power supply input. Asain version has 220v while the NTSC/J has 110v.

poplayer man it cant be modded as it has lite on drive which cant be hacked. Although to play games of rs 100 u can get it spoofed by any shop. Tell me your city and ill tell u the shops. The shopkeeper or guy will take out your drive and replace it with the hacked drive. Good luck!

has anyone tried copying games onto the hard disk using melody dual layer dvds? i got my hands on two of those babies but the copying takes almost forever to go to 40 percent and then it says ths dvd is scratched so cant copy, any suggestions?

I think your drive is dying, i have almost installed more than 10 games on hdd using melody and it takes only 10 to 15 minutes.
really it is? but ive copied three games from different medias like mitsubishi sony and the usual ones on the market after reading this post of yours and they copied flawlessly soul calibur 4 off a mitsubishi and condemned two off the market dvd.
It all depends on your luck, many members here have updated to NXE after spoofing their drives and they don't get banned.

If you accept it then the NXE will be installed on your console through the game, but remember, ONLY THE NXE UPDATE WILL BE INSTALLED, NOT THE AVATARS.
The game will only contain the roughly 7 mb of NXE software but not the avatars update. For that you'll have to connect to LIVE or install it from a USB.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
