^^Unrelenting Force becomes really powerful once you learn all three Words of Power.It becomes strong enough to knock a flying dragon off of the sky if you hit it's wing.

The game look pretty good, but I have plenty of games to get through and not that much time. I'll probably wait until it's a bit cheaper (yes, I buy legit). How does the game compare to the Wticher 2? I really liked that game and the setting. I tried playing Oblivion back in 2005 on my 360, but I really didn't get into the game (wasn't the biggest fan of RPGs back then). I loved ME 1 as well. Hated Dues EX though. Or will Diablo 3 be better?

Hey Chandoo and other... How does the combat feels? I have been lurking on leaked footages and I did not like the combat being just slash and hash kinda. How does combat actually feels when u play it yourself? How are the graphics? Any texture pop in or stuttering? How are the shadows?

Anyone played the ps3 version?

man i cant leave this game alone...must have clocked atleast 24 hours nw.haven't found a single boss that i wasn't able to slain.trolls,giants,mammoths,dragons blah blah blah.u name it,i have killed it .i have to admit,this game has the most EPIC dragon encounters i have ever experienced in a game.they may not be hard(if u knw how to properly use ur Thums,magic and weaponry correctly),but they are executed beautifully.guys i seem to be stuck with only 3 shouts?any idea where i could get more?ive got 5 dragon souls lying useless.

^^You have to find Words of Power which can be found inscribes on walls in dungeons and in places that are marked with a dragon's head on the map.You can also learn more as you advance through the story.

BTW I just ended the main quest. EPIC, EPIC Final Battle scene, had me drooling the whole time.But the story as a whole was kind of short and it could've been better and more wide ranging.You'll see for yourself.

I've clocked in about 41 hours so far and by the time I'm done with the remaining interesting Side Quests I'll probably be at 60 or so.

This is the music I was talking about earlier, it plays during the dragon abttles and usually starts about half way through once you halved the Dragon's Life and it falls to the ground, You know you're gonna win once you start hearing this EPIC theme playing.Feels perfect.

This one usually plays at the start of the dragon battles and gives you a sense of urgency and it gets you pumped up to fight the savage dragon swooping down on you.

I can't explain how well made the dragon battle are.You just don't get tired of them.

Oh shit ..

a dragon randomly attacked me when I was just walking around a town shopping for shit lol, all the NPC's and guards joined me in the fight .. it killed a few people too (hope none of those was a quest giver), but damn if it wasn't awesome seeing a dragon coming up and down over the horizon, perching over the church building, swinging around the tower then randomly picking up one person off the ground whilst flying and toss him a hundred feet in the air, just straight up breathing fire and the whole town running around shooting arrows and shit ..

but obviously in the end it was my dragon shout that brought it down to street level for dual wielding mince meat (sm1). Adrenaline Rush is a great combat ability, it refills the stamina bar instantly allowing massive damage dealing power attacks to be spammed quicker.

The random dragon encounters is by far the best thing about the game, so damn awesome.



edit : the graphics man, sure the textures aren't the best thing ever close up, but DAMN if that scenery doesn't look amazing .. a really good early game moment is when you're doing the 7000 steps quest (and yes they really ARE 7000 steps), and you're going all the way up the tallest mountain. You can see some pretty amazing scenery, funny thing is everyone who was around me standing there watching me play the game pretty much stopped and looked at the monitor (because i was mostly doing "cinematic" angles, watching the scenery whilst climbing and shit).

It's the Aurora Borealis .. it's a real thing, appears in the sky in Antarctica, or any place that's way up north.

^^Yeah, But it was still better then Oblivion I guess but there was so much going on in SKYRIM that was almost completely ignored in the main Story.

So what's everyone's character build ?

I'm playing a Redguard female (i always like playing as females in fantasy themed games, same for Dragon Age), and unlike Oblivion the gender does come into play a lot during general conversation so there's some "point" in doing it too. Currently at level 16. Focusing solely on Dual Wielding and Heavy Armor as my primary perks to get. Dual wielding stat is already at 79 thanks to a ton of money spent on the expert level trainer located in the companions guild hall.

Stamina is the most useful commodity because the dual wielding power attacks do MASSIVE damage, but they drain almost the entire stamina bar at once, and it takes its sweet time to regenerate (though I recently found a ring that increases the speed 20%, pretty useful).

Adrenaline Rush, the redguard exclusive ability, is great for fights. Instantly regenerates stamina for 60 seconds, great for when you're about to start a fight with a dragon. Though I can't imagine I'd be good in the mages build considering my magic stat is the same as when the game began

^^My character is a Male Breton, @lvl 26 I've been training in Restoration and destruction magic as well as one handed weapons and heavy armor, I've got a pretty balanced character going, I usually just use frost magic against soldiers which drains their stamina as well as causing damage and then I swing my big Ass elven Mace at them, Use Lightning against mages and if I get wounded switch to healing magic and deal damage with the mace while simultaneously healing myself.

but I'm going to go ahead and make myself a new female character too, just for the heck of it.

So what kind of shouts do you have right now?

I've collected one that can slow down time, I've got the storm call shout, I've got a shout that gradually leached the health out of opponents like super poison and I've got one that can call on a friendly dragon to aid me in combat.Also some minor stuff like fire breath, Ice breath, Life detecting aura and summoning some Nord warrior from Savangrade (Heaven)

So what kind of shouts do you have right now?

Just a few, the force shout, the speed dash shout, one that tames wild animals and one that reduces enemies defense and armor ratings ..

i've got another claw from a shop in that north town below the mage's guild, but don't have the cave marked on the map where i should get the next shout .. so far the unrelenting force is the only useful shout. If you know how I can get the shout that speeds up attacks (that was shown in the video), do tell.

^^I haven't found that one either but If you want to look for more shouts go Ask the Grey Beard Arngnier, He'll mark a location on your map and once you have it you can go ask him again for another location toe get the words of power.
