So I just came back from a 4 hour session of SKYRIM (RPG of the year) and It's meeting my expectations so far :
+ SKYRIM looks absolutely fantastic for an open ended game such as itself and the environments aren't all just static but they're teeming with life an fauna, you can see fish swimming in the river, foxes trying to hunt down rabbits, deer running from packs of wolves and what not.
+ The combat has actually improved a bit since oblivion, it doesn't feel quite as clunky and broken as before and dual wielding with spells and weapons makes the fights even better.Kill animations are a nice touch too.
+ I've leveled a little and have had the chance to check out the system, whenever you level up you get to increases either your mana, stamina or health once by 10-20 points and you get one perk, these perks are divided into different skill trees or schools based on different skills, i.e if you want to use your perk on the destruction school you enter the skill tree and use a perk there to get benefits such as more damage and less mana consumption stuff like that, and the overall level in each skill increases as you use those skills like in oblivion.
+ I can't comment on the story since I haven't played any of that yet but the opening was way better than oblivion's shitty, rat infested opening sequence.
+ Another very surprising bit of new is that In the 4 hours I've played this game I haven't encountered a single bug which is astonishing
+ The load times are great and rarely exceed 2-3 seconds except when loading large areas such as the main SKYRIM are which can take 5-6 seconds.
- I can't seem to find even a single dragon in SKYRIM, I think maybe you have to advance the main storyline to a far enough point to unlock those encounters so that's what I'm gonna do.
