And seriously, you do know Fallout 3 is basically a post-apocalypse skinned version of Oblivion, right?
Yeah and that's exactly what it needed. The setting made all the difference. There's big and then there's too big. Oblivion was ENORMOUS while FO was manageable. The combat system was bizarre, they improved on that by adding V.A.T.S so we wouldn't be limited by that shoddy aiming system.

I do have higher hopes for this one, maybe they've learned from their mistakes. And also it's got dragons :D

So I just came back from a 4 hour session of SKYRIM (RPG of the year) and It's meeting my expectations so far :

+ SKYRIM looks absolutely fantastic for an open ended game such as itself and the environments aren't all just static but they're teeming with life an fauna, you can see fish swimming in the river, foxes trying to hunt down rabbits, deer running from packs of wolves and what not.
+ The combat has actually improved a bit since oblivion, it doesn't feel quite as clunky and broken as before and dual wielding with spells and weapons makes the fights even better.Kill animations are a nice touch too.
+ I've leveled a little and have had the chance to check out the system, whenever you level up you get to increases either your mana, stamina or health once by 10-20 points and you get one perk, these perks are divided into different skill trees or schools based on different skills, i.e if you want to use your perk on the destruction school you enter the skill tree and use a perk there to get benefits such as more damage and less mana consumption stuff like that, and the overall level in each skill increases as you use those skills like in oblivion.
+ I can't comment on the story since I haven't played any of that yet but the opening was way better than oblivion's shitty, rat infested opening sequence.
+ Another very surprising bit of new is that In the 4 hours I've played this game I haven't encountered a single bug which is astonishing :p
+ The load times are great and rarely exceed 2-3 seconds except when loading large areas such as the main SKYRIM are which can take 5-6 seconds.

- I can't seem to find even a single dragon in SKYRIM, I think maybe you have to advance the main storyline to a far enough point to unlock those encounters so that's what I'm gonna do.

3. Visuals look fine as fuck. Super clean, great looking environmental effects and such (I'm guessing its 720p/4xMSAA The atmosphere is just oozing from the screen.
No, you're not guessing. You were the one who told us its already confirmed to be 720p/4xMSAA :p

Shocked at the game size though. Was expecting totally the opposite.

So Yeah I'm now past the point in the story that unlocks Dragon encounters and it's pretty early on actually, anyways I've only had one random encounter, it was just outside of Whiterun and was a frost dragon, It was pretty easy at Adept setting, halved it's life with some arrows and then shouted at his face once and then some fire magic and a brutal finishing move animation to finish it all off.One of the most satisfying moments in the game so far was watching the dragon's souls enter my (character's) body :p

So I did a couple of main story missions and so far it looks like the story is going to be pretty good, better than Oblivion at least, anyways after exploring about half a dozen I've only seen two skins or "themes" with different general layouts, I'm a bit dissapointed by the lack of variation in dungeons, and the main SKYRIM area is just as white all over as Fallout 3 was brown and green :p

Donno i m lost!!
this game is actually nothing more than oblivion with a new graphics engine....the character animation, physics and combat system feel same as oblivion and fallout3.gud thing is that the graphics are sometimes breathtaking.its like we jumped a whole gen compared to oblivion.also the generous amount of AA helps a lot too.

i have found my first shout and even a simple thing like learning it felt nothing less than awesome.there are things that overwhelm u in start but learning them us not that hard and soon before second nature.like all bethesda games, skyrim is filled to the brim with optional stuff that can do.games like these are usually filled with glitches on launch but this game is actually very stable.i haven't found or experienced a single glitch yet.music is cool but sometimes feels a little overdone.specially when ur just rooming around.i have a very gud feeling that this game is going to be nothing short of EPIC(like always :D)

Just wait till you start getting random dragon encounters, It's becomes truly EPIC when you've got a huge frost dragon swooping down on you from above with SKYRIM's main theme playing in the background with all the Nord chanting and what not.Simply EPIC!

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
