Tech guy--- help!!!

last night I perfectly shutdown my Pc and today after uni i start my Pc :crying: n wat !!! no Display!!! only Hdd light onn and nothing happen. I unplug all the cable and plug them again but .............. I hav 64X2= 128 Ram and also try to run on single ram. :frown:

Did u check ur monitor?May be it is the fault of ur monitor?If u r using a agp or pci GPU then unplug it and try to run ur stock VGA.may be VGA is not working.

no its not a monitor prob . is some thing inside dibba prob . i cant identify.

super yar give ur complete system information....may be its a mainboard problem.

check these few things and 1 more question.... does your power light turn on???

1. Clean your ram by a rubber.... reinsert and start the PC
2. bring your friend's ram and give it a try.... please be careful with compatibility
3. Take CPU out clean it also clean CPU socket, reinsert it and start it up
4. check your PSU by voltmeter (v. rare case but since its hot nowdays so anything can happen)
5. if u overclocked your system then set your jumper to recovery mode and then start


if nothing happens then give me your "full" system details

Double check that there is no USB/flash drive plugged-in! are you using a Stabilizer? this kind of situation usually happen due to low voltage, check your power source, unplug all the cable except the power one and then try! (don't plug any USB drive)

does your power light turn on???

No.. power ling does not turn green

theses situation occurs

when all cable plug or single Hdd/cd rom plug

after pressing power button Hdd light on .i can hear hdd loading sound. on board start led on ,processor fan rotating . no power light on and hav 4 back panel Led that turn amber and green to indicate diagnostic information r off too

when all cables r unpluged

same as above only hdd led off.

^ is happen with me, on my new PC when Jchang and me were sitting my PC was not booting and only showing power light and then Jchang point me towards the USB port where I forget to unplug the flash drive..as soon as I unplug the drive it start booting..that's why I am asking U..becasue in newer PC there is a USB boot option to which search for OS in a USB storage..

have u tried "all" of the above things......??? coz i am using D815 since 7 years.... i had a problem of such kind... it was ram problem.... also try botting without HDD or Cd-rom... just to see bios screen... just use 1 stick of ram for booting.... if Bios screen doesn't pop up...... then boot without ram..... if u get 3 beeps then your mobo is OK.... other wise

I try to boot with and without cdrom hdd and ram no beep sound. may be tomorrow i should go to repair shop . any good repair guy u know. i didnt try other ram bcz none of my frnd hav Dimm . most of them hav ddr now.
