ta88v3 and 3000 are moddable now

dark alex has left the game now, so those who have put their hopes on him have been disappointed. but chickhen was developed by someone else in May, this allowed all psps including the v3 AND 3000 TO RUN HOMEBREW , the developer did not include the option to play isos as he was against piracy, somewhere around the first or second of june, a third party introduced a homebrew called custom firmware enabler 1.0, this when run alongside chickhen v2 aallows the user to run isos as it modifies the original firmware into a custom one by writing some new files onto the flash, it does not overwrite any files so it can never brick ur psp. i modded mine around the 7th or 8th june, has been playing every iso or cso i throw at it. it can only be used with official firmware 5.03 and once u turn off the psp u have to repeat the process of running chickhen and custom firmware enabler each time u turn it on. but that only takes a couple of minutes.the first custom firmware enablers did not allow support for 3000 but versions 3.1 and above do have this support.

just check the link, i am not playing on a 3000, i am playing on a ta88v3, so pics wont justify as all psp 2000 are visually the same, just check out the link i provided or search google for proof on custom firmware enabler, if u are still not satisfied then u may do as u please, all i am doing is helping u guys out as i am not asking for help, only telling what i know and u don't, ok! just check the link and u will know what i mean. if u dont believe me then the loss will be yours and not mine. also, youtube is full of videos in this regard, the first link is a tutrial for doing it on 3000.

Ah well!
I highly doubt someone will ever try this. Everyones wait for a proper crack! Unlike this chickHen that you have to kick start engine before playing isos and who know what other glitches/bugs it has!

well its better than paying large sums for those noisy umds and as i said i have been using it for a month now and the only major glitch that occurs is when u run chickhen it sometimes does not run and u have to retry but there is a trick that makes it work 99% of the time on the first try. other than that all isos i have thrown at it run flawlessly. playing monster hunter right now. the entire mod takes five minutes after u download the necessary files, as all u have to do is copy some files which are not more than 2 mb to the memory card and run them. also unlike pandora u can retain ur warranty as u do not remove the official firmware, you only add files to it which get removed upon a shut down. if u put the psp to sleep and do not do a proper shutdown the custom firmware will keep running. and u do not have to rerun chickhen and the enabler. also as it only adds files to the flash rather than overwriting them there is, unlike pandora, no chance of bricking ur psp. i think these things make this better than pandora as it allows u to retain ur warranty as well as play isos. also it is the quickest mod possible that can be removed by removing ur memory card, leaving back no proof that your psp was ever modded.

hey guys this is true that u can play iso cso games on a psp 3000 or above but with the only problem of unstable firmware whenever u restart ur psp its gone but as i am doing not turning off the psp just turn it on stand by mode so i dont have to repeat process again nd again.....

well if u are runing games on a psp-3000 why dont u post some pics of it ...coz dont wana brick the psp for playing games on a firmware not woirking 100% .
