Suggest a good ISP in Defence Lahore

Hi Fellow Members

I live in ASKARI 8 aka Army Housing Scheme Defence ( which is technically referred to as a part of Defence).
I am currently using PTCL DSL @4mb connection . It worked great in the past three years but since the last four months it has been causing annoying problems like slow browsing and disconnection . Despite many visits and complaints , the issue hasn't been resolved so I have finally decided to switch .

I could have gone for Worldcall , but according to a few of my neighbours , Worldcall also has these pathetic issues.

Wateen is the last option for me in terms of a wired connection. So should I go for it? Does it offer proper back-up during load-shedding? Any other problems?


And if it's not good what should i switch to, PTCL EVO NITRO CLOUD now only gives me 2-3Mbps considering that I pay 3000 for it.

Sadly, PTCL is your best bet.

What I would like to know, from someone who lives in Lahore and can find out, when will PTCL offer fiber optic in defense Lahore? Up until last month, the ONLY area where PTCL offers you a dedicated fiber optic line to your house is Gulberg. Will they ever offer it in defense and other areas?
