Hmm...I dont know much about CIMA....you have my cousin on skype.Try asking him.He will surely help you out :)
I'll see. My teacher has done his MBA and is doing his CIMA so I think I'll talk to him too, seeing he's doing an academic and a professional qualification I think its best I talk to him for both sides of the picture.

For masters or at undergraduate level? (I'm currently applying for UG in Germany).
Please don't make this a discussion thread. If you have information about applying to German universities then you can PM or VM me the details and i will add it to the opening post.:)

I know you weren't trying to discuss anything but your question will lead to his answer then another question and so on and then arguments and discussions will start. So if you have info on how to apply to German universities then please do share :)

this thread is mainly for those people who are willing to apply somewhere and need a guideline and help.
I am working as hard as i can to add information to this thread
This is what i want from pg members who want to participate in this thread:

People who are asking questions:
you should tell us about where you want to apply, which course you want to apply for, your qualifications etc,in ONE post so that we can easily help you out because if your information is scattered all over the thread then it gets really hard for us.

People who are going to answer the queries:
Just one thing.
Answer only if you know the proper answer to someone's query
Opinions and arguments are not welcome here :)

So i got offers from
-Imperial College London
-Durham University
-Kings College London
-Edinburgh University

The fee alone is 16-17k pound.

I basically only applied to Cambridge in the start on the 800 Anniversary Scholarship basis but didnt get even a interview call. The college i applied to was worse than shit, they didnt even reply to my emails. In the end I got a letter on a cheap page (after paying so much in admission process) that i have been rejected! To get rid of the sadness I applied to other universities too.

Now I am sad again as I got accepted into some of the best colleges but I cant afford it. :(

So you have applied before.
The thing you must check before you apply is that which country suits your financial situation.Like in your case we can see that you did not do that.Getting accepted into Cambridge is no joke.It is nearly impossible.Anyways good luck for the future.

and please refrain from discussions/arguments/opinions in this thread.Since you are new here so I am just pointing it out. This thread is solely for those people who wish to apply, need a guideline for applying to various countries and those who need help during the applying process :)

Try Dubai or Malaysia, you can get into UK or Australian Universities and then shift to UK/Australia if you wish in your last year for example. They're much cheaper alternatives.

I have some queries.

A couple of colleagues have been busy with this. Thought I'd get some input here as well.

Applying for Masters Degree in US universities.

They have done IELTS/TOEFL and hold a four year bachelors degree and that's that.

NOW.

1) A neat list of universities where a person can apply without GRE/GMAT/LST/WTF [No ones in the mood to take these tests.]

2) Is it possible to get admission into a good university without all the GRE etc stuff?

3) Which US states a person should look into when applying for masters degree?

Advise, would you kindly.

Thank You

I read the Dawn education issue that came out this Sunday. A chart showed that the tuition fee for public universities in Malaysia is 3000 while for Private it's 5000, 5000 average living expensive to top that off. I'd say this is by far the cheapest alternative I've seen apart from Germany. Any guidelines on applying to universities in Malaysia? I'm referring to the undergraduate program btw.

Staying in Pakistan and applying to a university here is the only choice you have :)

@Omarko: 100k Rupees per year? That's nothing man :/
I got offers from McGill, York and Ryerson but those bastards are giving me a scholarship of only upto 2400$ compared to their tuition fee that is 23,000$ without rent or living expenditure. I guess I'm considering Malaysia since it's the cheapest.
Also, I think this link should be added to the Malaysian guide, the proper fee estimate. http://www.mohe.gov.my/educationmsia/education.php?article=study
And this one for a full fledged idea of studying in Malaysia. Both these links really helped me out.

universities don't have a set period of time.It will take 1-3 months :).
I got 5 acceptances and it took like two months and 10 days.I got two in the first month. One in the next month and then two in the 10 days after that :)
There is no need to worry.Acceptance or rejection....the university does inform you :)

^Everyone gets accepted at most universities in Canada, ESPECIALLY University of Toronto. Their acceptance rate is extremely high but so is their dropout rate.
I agree with you. They accept everyone but the dropout rate is MASSIVE :)
