Bee-cause it's fun, No shugal here In Paki Schools at least in Faisalabadis. No decent Grounds, sports, HOUSING SYSTEM as per claimed etc. etc.
Do you want to study or have fun? o_O
If it's the later then you can go abroad anytime you want and do what you want to have fun. If it's the former, you better do your A-levels here.

The other kind of fun is available locally too. Ask Ashhad.

Anyway. Doing A Levels from outta Pakistan is pointless. Doing O Levels makes sense. Alevels nope.

How does doing O levels from abroad make sense?
I meant relatively.

Because you have to take 3 absolutely useless extra subjects that aren't even credited and wanted by most uni's, thereby wasting a year.

1) You'll have to take other "useless subjects" abroad like Latin and other languages.
2) These subjects aren't exactly useless, many unis abroad requires 8 subjects, some even more. Plus it definitely does have credit, especially Urdu since it's an entire language.

9 subjects in O levels is very easily manageable, anything lower than 8 portrays the image that you're either inept or haven't had enough exposure to other disciplines.

Urdu is not recognized as a language in uni's outside Pakistan. Since we're talking in the 'studying abroad' thread, I'm answering with that background. The same's the case for Pakstudies and Islamiyat. They don't have a credit value outside of Pakistan.

9 subjects is indeed easily manageable, however you lose a year here regardless. Heck, even the 17 that I've studied were easy as pie. So far, at-least. It was only when the exams neared out that I had trouble since they were way too many to deal with.
I believe anyone in O Levels should get rid of Pakstudies Urdu Isl early on and take 3 extra's related, or non related to your field of specialization in future.

Khair. That has nothing to do with going abroad. I repeat, I was talking in a relative perspective. Not saying that one should pursue O Levels from some other country, only saying that doing so makes more sense than doing A levels (to me at least)

Actually an extra language is always an asset, regardless of whether you're in Pakistan or abroad. I've filled out application forms for many foreign unis, and just about every one, whether it be in USA, Malaysia or Germany ask how many languages you're proficient in.

It doesn't matter if Urdu is barely spoken outside Pakistan, it's still another language, and thus, adds to your ability to communicate and interact with other people.
