Well then again we have a recent one with SFIV but still in terms of which one's better i'd go for Tekken.

Technology has nothing to do with really. Its the game mechanics which matter. Tekken has alot of depth... but you'd be surprised how much tactic is involved in games like Street Fighter and Guilty Gear X, King of Fighters etc. More people prefer those 2D fighters over 3D. Tekken IS, and SF will always BE.

i think both have different play styles
tekken is never competing with SF series IMO

Mechanics of both games are different, the way how Tekken characters are based solely on contact moves and juggles won't fit with how Streetfigher characters have projectiles such as Hadoukens and etc. Lame comparison.

Oh who said I was convincing anyone? Its a discussion forum right?
I've been a die hard fan of both franchises... now I prefer Tekken. But SF4 is a fresh take in the series.

Both are best in their own rights. I am a die hard fan of tekken and always loved Street fighter. Difficult to make comparison as they are both different.

SF was best at the classic time but overall Tekken is somewhat more better, tough SFIV is a great return of SF franchise.

wow, is Tekken actually winning ? Its a dumb button masher for drones, some one defeated deso the other day in Tekken playing for the first time. Its a dumb game.
