I would love to play Supreme commander forged alliance with all the mods and updates, but I don"t have a PC. I would love to know what is the best computer out there that isn't to expensive and won't crash when I try and play the game.

I have played scfa alot, but my hardware doesnt allow me to pull it to the limit
what i have seen is that this game requires massive GPU power if you play with mods like total veterancy, sorian AI etc and with more than 1 team and big maps. This game gets as much slomo as more units are added in the game, eventually freezing at 2000 unit cap

The ideal system for this game would be:

i3-2100
DH61WW
4Gb DDR3 1333
XFX 6790 1GB DDR5 (has 134GB/s bandwidth as compared to 98GB/s of 550TI the same price
Cooler master GX 450W (look no lesser, this is the best bang supply for 4.9k)

As you can see, the total price of these components is 38.3k, which is not too much. Still if it exceeds ur budget you seriously cannot play scfa with all its glory, and would need to limit the game settings and playing scenarios

That system requirement is bogus, even my system which exceeds this requirement cant handle the game in extremities, let alone using mods/multiple teams/huge maps/high quality...
these system requirements actually impose the minimal gaming experience you can get from a specific game

Hi, the best deal on processors is the Intel Core i5 2500K, if you want the same performance and you don't want to spend much, the AMD Phenom 2 X6 1100T is the best option, but you have to search a motherboard compatible with those processors, and the RAM, the RAM for the AMD must run at 1333MHz, and for the Intel is 1066MHz and 1333MHz, just find motherboards compatible with those processors, the retail stores can help you and that, and the video cards, I recomend the ATI video cards, they are more cheaper than Nvdia and more versatile, I recomend the 6870. 6950 or the 6970. If you want for example more than 4gb of RAM you must buy Windows 7 64bits.

Go with what kooldj suggested. That PC will let you max all of the games at 1440*900 resolution and run games at high settings at 1080p
