ASALAMU A'LLAIKUM guys,.,,,
m so confused :crying:
i just passed my INTERMEDIATE exams... and i want to be a software engineer in future ..
i need your help and advises about in which university i should take ADMISSION ...
i dont know anything about BACHELORS degree i dont know the diffrence b/w B.E and BS
.. and second thing i wanna ask is NED software engineer karati hai..?
and plz ap jis uni ka naam suggest karen unki required percentage bhe bataiye ga saath Thanks alot

Bro you can check out undergraduate courses of universities from their prospectus available on the websites.

NED offers these 3 computer related courses:
1) Computer and Information Systems,
2) Software Engineering,
3) Computer Science and Information Technology.

83+% can get you in every discipline in NED like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical etc.
But approx 74-80% is required for these 3 I think.
You can also apply on the basis of Self Finance. Pay 5 lakh RS upfront and you will apply for a number of extra seats.

What is your Inter percentage?

and if u r interested in computer fields then NED NED ni hai , i mean NED is good for electrical, mechanical, chemical etc GIK and NUST are better than NED but fee is way higher than NED
for computer fast is best and other good are KU, IBA, Sir Sayed etc

I agree. NED is well known for Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, Electronic, Telecom etc. But it is no longer great for computer subjects. I heard it used to be great back in 2002-2006.

dont know about NED, but yeah i know about Karachi university, i;ve studied there BSCS 1.5years, but its BS in computer science, also they are teaching BSSE (BS in Software engineering) which is you required field & required % is minimum 50% but if you want to take admission you must have atleast 75% in FSC, i mean in intermediate... but bro i recommened you to be very careful before taking BSSE, bcoz its damn hard for me to understand programming language but its my issue ;phehe

BA= Bachelors in Arts
BS= Bachelors in science
BE= Bachelors in engineering/electronics etc. i hope it helps JazakALLAH :wink2:

i finish my BS in Computer Engineering in March 2013 from Sir Syed University of Science & Technology and working as a Software Engineer in Software House, the program at university is great, studies great, faculty also great...
In order to get admission at SSUET, minimum 65% is required, and last i heard the fee for semester is 52 Thousand, Admission open in October............

I love every single thing of computer... i dont know much about these languages but know some basics... and i found it interesting

BTW why are you trying to do Software Engineering? Why not give Computer Science a try because it is a much bigger field compared to Software Engineering. But it is still 100% related to softwares.
