MULTI So Who Is Going To WCG 2007 From PG?

I am afraid..my answer is NO! first of all we don't have much members here, secondly we don't have professional gamers on board and thirdly we need the official support from the government like from Pakistan's Sport Board!

PGL website is also very silent I am not seeing any updates about WCG paksitan :S

LOL... forget about the country, I wonder when will our parents support gaming ??? I still get laughed at whenever i tell some one elder that i like to play video games... Everyone at my office thinks that i am toooo childish, because i like games...

as long as the people won't accept professional gaming, the government won't take any notice of it either, and the gaming scene in pakistan will remain confined in people's homes.

I am agree with usman, and the sad part is that the bodies which were working before like PGL etc are all sleeping...checkout PGL website for example..I think the main reason for their lack of activity is the same..i-e no support from government!

PGL the sleeping assoles.yeh u guys are right.even my parents do not like gaming and im doing M.Phil and in uviversity when i told that i like to play vidoe games every one was staring at me that if i said something wrong.our society too is not accepting gaming as a sport.

i soooo hate those poeple who think games are CHILDISH!!!....they think that its just a waste of time while infact these games are inspiring enough to make one interested in IT..in designing...like my self....im sure all of you guys were inspired urselves and build ur interest in computers....and i alsoo hate those people soooooo much who just play games all day and all night and waste thier whole and not take a positive effect from anything...even games...

Make them realise that it's good? Don't just sit there and listen to what they throw at you. That's the worst mistake most teenagers make and then end up being the ''weird one''. Defend yourself and tell them it's not that bad.

yes, we are trying already and the result is PakGamers.com that's out main mission to unite all the pakistani gamers!
