MULTI Skyrim hailed game of the generation by Amazon UK

The UK arm of retailer Amazon has named The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as the greatest game of the current generation. Between June 1 and August 4, Amazon asked its

customers to vote on the the games. The 16 finalists were then placed into two brackets of eight, with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and The Last of Us competing for the final

vote. No specific numbers were attached to the voting process. Amazon adds that PS3 exclusives The Last of Us and Uncharted 2 each received more votes than all eligible Xbox

360 exclusives combined. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood missed out on a top 16 finish by a single vote.Amazon's 16 finalists were Batman: Arkham City, BioShock,

BioShock Infinite, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 3, Far Cry 3, Grand Theft Auto IV, The Last of Us, Mass Effect 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Super

Mario Galaxy, Portal 2, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and The Walking Dead.

WTF? what about The Last of US, Metal Gear Solid 4, Bioshock Infinite or Mass Effect 2? Gamers can't be this stupid to vote Skyrim for game of the generation :fp1::fp1:

Ugh. How stupid. TLoU should've won.
But Skyrim is multiplatform. In the end, it was up against TLoU, a PS3 exclusive. Xbox and PC players probably just voted for Skyrim.

Oh, and 2 titles from Naughty Dog in the last 4. <3

Uncharted 2 is nowhere close to amazing. I thought it would be really great considering it was hailed as the best PS3 game. But I was really disappointed when I played it. It had its moments sure, but seriously, I feel that there are many much better games. FO3 was fun, but only on PC and with mods.

Are you guys kidding me? COD4? GTA IV? lol wut , goto the Wikia of Skyrim It has a whole history about the game so much definitions , How easy is it to make a total new game with new Race,Religion,Technology And Enviornment . And How easy is it to make a Game similarly to our Actualy environment .

A Well deserved Win for SKYRIM. I wish they'd waited for Persona 5 to come out but oh well.

Completely deserved. I enjoyed playing Skyrim a lot. Exploring the huge beautiful province of Skyrim which is even bigger than GTA: San Andreas and a hell lot more to do was amazing for me. You could do things ranging from something as simple as looking for a cool spell or sword to taming dragons, owning a house, saving the world from a legendary dragon, becoming a vampire or a werewolf, becoming the Archmage of the Mages Guild, kill the damn Emperor or even get married if you wanted. Speaking of marriage, the ability to meet and develop relationships of your choice with a lot of interesting characters in this game was fantastic too.

If there's any game that offered a whole universe of experience it's Skyrim and that's why it is undoubtedly the Game of the Generation.

Skyrim Nexus is just the tip of the iceberg of what the community can do with the game itself. People gaming on consoles are completely left out of the experience Skyrim really has to offer.

ENBs, texture mods, followers, combat mechanics enhancement, and the list goes on. If you want more, google "Falskaar" :wink2: and be amazed
